ecomdash vs. IBM Sterling Order Management

It would be well suited for a business that is just starting out with inventory management and sells on multiple channels. They are a growing company that is constantly changing and making improvements. I don't think there is another competitor out there that can offer the same features at their price point. It may not be well suit for large organizations.

• Centralizing data.
• Instantaneously updated data.
• Ad hoc reporting.

• User interface. The whole thing feels clunky.
• Knowledge-base. Their searchable knowledge base isn't really all that helpful. It feels like it was written as an afterthought.

• Wider variety of sourcing configuration
• Product Documentation
• COM Features need to better so that Customer case handling is facilitated

The package of Sterling Order Management / Sterling Store / Sterling Call Center works very well and it supports the expansion to Geographies like US/EU/JP/China, some of hottest markets for e-commerce.

eComdash always answers our questions, and they have a call-back system to speak on the phone which is very convenient. The people there actually understand the complexities of the software and understand our problems when we explain them. Things get solved quickly and we feel like they care about the speed of the resolution.

I have not had first hand experience with inventory management software like ecomdash.

Warehouse Management System which is mainly focussed on warehouse fulfillment but not on the routing and availability tracking
