Surfer is a data visualization suite from Golden Software in Colorado for oil and gas companies, or other entities in other industries requiring geological or environmental data.
Everstage is well suited for smaller sales teams as it is little rigid with handling changes and maintenance is a task. Managing and computing on everstage is accurate and fast but making changes will require you to take help from the support team. They have an amazing support team to help you out.
Surfer has been excellent for us, a small company, to process the electrical resistivity, refraction microtremor, and MASW data collected in the field. There are an increasing number of programs capable of assisting in this geophysical analysis but Surfer is the most advanced. The ability to create both 2D and 3D figures in the program while managing data is a huge help. It also greatly improved report quality and helped clients better understand what the results were for a study.

The user interface can be tricky at first. It's a little rough around the edges and takes a little time to get the hang of.
Not an ideal application for older employees. There are too many things with the interface that make it not worthwhile to train employees with less computer experience.
Manipulating data within Surfer is difficult because you have to do things in a certain order. Not terrible if you get the hang of it but certainly frustrating at first.

The reason to give this rating is corely because of multiple level analysis, everstage provide product level analysis which is truly beneficial for any business manager, we can understand which product is doing good in the organization and we can understand which sales executive is selling more which course. The sales executives can understand their next stage of the incentive and monthly target left to do

Pages load quickly and dashboards refresh reliably under normal conditions. Reports complete in reasonable timeframes for standard queries. The Salesforce integration runs smoothly without noticeable slowdowns

It's Wonderful. They have been accessible when in need. the response is immediate and genuine. the support wait time is not too long either. when a fault is pointed out, thy accept it and try to work on it and within a week they try to find a better option to resolve the issue. Accepting and working to deliver better is really appreciable thing. Kudos to the team on that
our team leader spoke very highly of the training and the positive experience. This then brought the team on board and were looking forward to a positive experience of a product to minimise manual tasks and room for human error ! All the team have nothing but high praise for the product.

Our team leader in US was responsible and involved with this and they spoke very highly of the training and product. This is what really brought the whole team on board. From this response and interaction the team really looked forward to using the product which was a great intro !!!

It was a company decision, Excel was not automated and had high chances of human error and if not updated properly there may be chances of someone losing out on their attainment Ever stage being automated and linked to salesforce there is very less probability of mistake and also transparency in the records

Surfer is very unique with respect to its capabilities. I am not aware of any other mapping software that is at the same time flexible, has a friendly interface, and creates such nice-looking maps.

The worst thing about Surfer is the cost. My company can only afford one license at the moment which means only one employee gets to use it regularly. Not so great when someone is sick or you have a huge wave of projects.
The user interface is a little rough but younger employees have been great at catching on quickly and producing great images.
There's nothing else quite like Surfer. It's versatile and not to difficult to use so, though the licenses are expensive, it is an excellent program that has done wonders for our company!
