Flodesk vs. Iterable

If you have a small business and are selling services, products, etc I think Flodesk is fantastic! It's clean, has great design, is easy to use and integrate with other software, and most importantly, it makes setting up marketing funnels and getting paid a breeze!

Iterable is great for delivering your email marketing activity. We've not yet added other channels (although may do soon), but others report that the cross-channel capability is strong. Iterable manages to find the sophistication to enable our ambitions, yet remain user friendly and manageable. We're on a journey from relying heavily on old-fashioned blast emails to automated CRM. Iterable has been a fantastic tool to help us along the way. I particularly enjoy the journey builder that we trigger in multiple ways, from custom events, to list schedules, and user actions.

• It is easy to onboard new users with building communications. The drag and drop editor is very intuitive to use.
• Allows for complex data structures on user profiles and in events. This is a key reason we onboarded to Iterable and have stayed with it.

• Being able select a link within Flodesk - for instance when setting up a sign up form or waitlist and wanting it to lead directly to the sales page or checkout next.
• Improved brand kit settings where you don't have to reset the font every single time.
• Default footer settings would be amazing!

• Locale management: being able to copy and past a template section/row/content from a locale to another. Also, be able to duplicate any locale to any locale. So far we can just duplicate the default locale into the rest of the locales

I love Flodesk - I think it's very easy to learn/use and unlike most other email software, it's biggest benefit is being able to build sales pages, checkouts, waitlists, etc. in addition to email newsletters.

Iterable is super easy to use. I have experience with competing platforms, but Iterable is by far the most intuitive platform to use. I also really appreciate the way the product team is willing to accept product requests

Iterable is there like 99.9% of the time. However, when it goes down, it grinds us to a halt. Most of the time, outages are an hour or less, but if that's at a peak time, it can be a nightmare. That said, when the worst does happen, there are frequent updates and an easy situation tracker that give you an estimate of how much longer you'll have to wait for the issue to be resolved.

The API is super quick. The UI can be a little sluggish depending on what you're loading, but overall Iterable performs great. Iterable appears to do a good job of making processes async so that one action isn't blocking another.

I've never experienced any issues with Iterable. As I and my colleagues have learnt the system and it's features, response to questions and advice from our account manager is always quick. Kevin knows the product well, and with the few tricky questions has hasn't been able to answer he's been quick to get back to us.

I selected Flodesk because it has the most important features available of the similar products listed but is way more cost-effective and user-friendly. Plus, their designs/aesthetics are great!

When we were benchmarking CRM platforms, we analyzed many of them. Mailchimp's transactional solution, mandrill, was our previous provider, but we needed the Developer team's assistance in all our campaigns. Salesforce was a more complex platform, but it proved too complex for our Marketing team, and the price was higher. ActiveCampaign didn't have the solutions in place to support 40 different locales with the autonomy that Iterable offers.

We've definitely tested scalability, and it's no line - it works. The process is pretty easy. Most of the times it goes off without a hitch. Any time we do encounter issues, our support team is quick to get on the job and very communicative as they work us through a successful launch.
