Go1 vs. Infosec Skills

Go1 has been very well suited to teams that have the scope to be able to take time away from their day-to-day work and focus on professional development. Everyone across our business is able to access Go1 and is required to complete the compliance training, but we are seeing a lower percentage of usage from our Customer Service teams as they are often unable to come away from their desk.

The boot camp was planned accordingly, and had the right amount of time to go over and review the material. I would recommend breaking up the class over a weekend. For CISSP, the amount of information to ingest is a lot and can be overwhelming. I felt at day 5, I just needed not so much of a break but time to go back and review what I just learned.

• The huge library and variety of courses that can be accessed from multiple different providers in one place.
• Our account manager from Go1 is always on hand to answer any questions we have or help with any tasks we have.
• It is also very easy to pull reports from and monitor learning across the board.
• I also love that I can pull the .skorm file for learning content from the site to reupload onto our internal site for compliance training.

• Courses are presented in small chunks, so busy people can proceed without needing to split segments up, and can get whole subject area in one sitting
• Subjects are well organized, a good mix of "theory" and real world examples
• Completion certifications are available to suit a wide variety of continuing education requirements
• Courses are well-paced and clearly presented, easy to follow

• We have had a courses go missing along with the records of completion (this was reinstated when we raised a ticket)
• I have had issues where the credit points for Awards do not add up properly- this means that people who have completed an award show up as incomplete
• The 'mark as read' button is often missed because it is at the bottom of the screen

• Honestly the only negative I've had was the test prep book sent as part of RHCSA Boot Camp. It seemed the author rushed publication to address the release of RHEL8. Unfortunately he left containers out completely. I think this has been sorted in a later edition.

We evaluated several vendors, some of whom solely held their own material and others that provided a variety. Go1 appeared to be the best choice for us because of their wide selection of material and competent manner that tailored according to our specific needs

I am in cyber security and this domain required me to do some internationally recognized certifications and infosec skills had helped in clearing these certifications. Their training instructors was awesome and practice questions quality was great. With the help of infosec skill i had cleared CISSP and CRISC exam. I experience, Cybrary on the other hand has less certifications preparation options as compared to infosec skills
