Hoopla vs. Talon.One vs. Voucherify

Hoopla is a valuable ally to improve the team's performance. [I]t is a great help for those teams that have defined and [created] clear automated metrics. However, if you are in a team where the metrics are manually evaluated, it can be hard to get excited about the progress, since it will take longer to refresh.

I see Talon.One as best suited for small or medium sized businesses - less than 50k customers. The reason being, I do not see the scalability of the tool; it is the classic what-you-see-is-what-you-get. On the positive, because you get all of it out of the box, it makes it very simple to have one or two people dedicated to administration and development. Additionally, Talon.One won't be contacting you for more money just to use a feature

• Simple leaderboards that stack rank individuals in the areas that you want to measure
• Instant notifications and providing the virtual "pat on the back" when something positive occurs
• Effective salesforce.com integration that makes in easy to administer
• Great user community to share ideas, tips, and best practices

• The interface is great. Very clean and easy to use.
• Their support team is top notch!
• The speed at which you can test a code after creation is unrivaled.

• I wish it ran in a browser and not as a full Chrome app, would have made setup easier.
• It was nice to have default images out of the box, more would have been nice.
• For smaller companies, it can get pricy, quick. We 100% see the ROI to be clear.

• Learning the vocabulary of the tool was the most challenging for me.
• There are some things that take too many clicks, like user administration.
• It isn't obvious where the help tools are located, especially when struggling with the code logic.

I gave it a 9 because it really is an extremely easy service to use. I would comfortably say that a brand use user could be set up and using it within just a few minutes. Hoopla has been very great about making any new update very user friendly and easy to use and figure out

I have really enjoyed my relationship with our client success manger, Annette. She is always willing to hop on a call for a quick question and is very responsive. She has taken the time to walk me through how to upload new reports, set up new metrics and leaderboards, while also being helpful in setting up a new channel to broadcast

They were both comparable based on the tool and results on how we wanted to Broadcast sales metrics and KPI’s across the entire sales organization. Hoopla just seemed to be much easier to use with fewer bells and whistles. We felt based on the pricing structure and how we planned to display hoopla on monitors throughout our office that it was the best choice to move forward with

For clarity, I am only comparing the discount code feature from Salesforce vs. the entire platform. In Salesforce, creating a code was an arduous process, then we had to wait for the sync job to run with our web services engine (every 10 minutes) to see if what we had created was functioning correctly. Do the math: If configuration takes 10 minutes, you have to wait a total of 20 minutes to test it, then if it doesn't work, try again in 15-20 minutes. Over an 8-hour day, you aren't accomplishing anything! TalonOne made it so simple. 10-15 minutes of configuration time, then near immediate testing time. We were able to create and troubleshoot a discount code in a couple of hours rather than a couple of days

• We hear music and folks cheer when a "Breaking News" announcement occurs. The community level engagement can not be quanitified
• The contest environments have helped to lead sellers to stay an extra 30 minutes and make 10 more calls just to pass someone up. We see our call volume increased because of it.
• We measure the trails of our solution that our sellers create from leads. We can see an active pursuit of those conversions to be at the top of the leaderboard. More trails, lead to more opportunities, that lead to more sales.

• TalonOne's capabilities and administration tools made it incredibly easy to setup, saving us days in testing with our previous tool.
• The detailed logging features helped us drill down to the exact step in the process that was failing.
• The reporting features helped us track customer usage and engagement across all of our markets.
