Impact vs. Insightpool Ads Optimization

Any publisher looking to monetize their blogs would be a great fit. The size of the publisher probably doesn't matter. They have a wide selection of advertisers and publishers can sign up for free. Advertisers that are looking for great partners for their affiliate programs would be good fits. One of the benefits is that Impact really focuses on recruiting high-quality publishers.

I recommend Insightpool for anyone looking to build and maintain a relevant follower pool on Twitter as well as anyone that wishes to use Twitter for event recruitment, white paper downloads, etc. With a small team, I strongly recommend the full-service model, especially when you first get started. It's like having an in-house social team when you opt for full-service and has enabled us to do much more on Twitter than was previously possible with our small team.

• There are no hidden charges and tracking is instant and automated.
• As an affiliate, Finding relevant offers and managing the programs is quite easy.
• It has a great user interface which is quite easy to use and manage.
• There is nearly zero downtime, which makes it much more efficient and reliable.

• Event promotion and registration: Insightpool's unique ability to search both the Twitter stream and profile data makes reaching B2B marketing professionals at key industry events a cinch.
• Building relevant follower pool: Insightpool's ability to target relevant users by profile data makes finding and nurturing the right individuals easier than ever before.
• The personalized and targeted approach is well-received and prompts engagement from the people we care about.

• User interface could be improved a little, as it is a quite difficult task to find the content or links
• Approval from the advertisers sometimes takes a huge amount of time. If they can somehow reduce the response time, it will be great
• New affiliates might find the onboarding process a little difficult

• Initial iterations of the tool were buggy and not all that intuitive, which is why we moved to a full-service model. More recent releases are much more intuitive and less buggy.
• The tool was limited before its ability to search Twitter steams, but now with stream search, we do not feel hindered in anyway.
• Personally, I'm not a fan of public message targeting. Use with caution. The DM feature works great and is very well received by our audience however.

Just renewed for the rest of the year. Pricing is very reasonable especially when you compare it to the cost of paid Twitter campaigns. And, Insightpool campaigns have consistently outperformed direct Twitter campaigns.

Impact has had a major impact on our business. It is pretty easy to use if you don't have multiple accounts with them, so be sure you keep things streamlined. Otherwise, it can be confusing if you have to bounce between different accounts you've applied to. While they are managed under a single login, they can be difficult to distinguish between when trying to see how successful your campaigns are.

We've been reaching out requesting support for two months and no one has responded. They completely ghosted us. We've emailed the original sales rep, our account manager, our sales rep and account manager's bosses, and others. Still no response, though I can see the emails have been opened multiple times. I've never experienced worse support.

First promoter has been a phenomenal affiliate platform to use. It has everything I need from a reporting perspective. It has everything I need from a payout perspective. It has all the links, tips, and tools I need for promoting products. Overall it is a far better tool to use

We've used sponsored Tweets via Twitter directly with limited success. We don't see the same level of engagement or types of followers with paid Twitter promos as we do with Insightpool campaigns. Additionally, we receive a fair amount of negative feedback when we use sponsored tweets as they tend not to be as targeted as running Insightpool campaigns

• By using Impact we were able to increase the number of advertisers on our platform.
• Delayed payments on the part of advertisers or Impact creates so many execution issues.
• Multi regional campaigns helped us to increase our presens in the market.

• Not just more Twitter followers, but more RELEVANT Twitter followers and more engaged followers from our target audience.
• A great tool for prospecting and event recruitment at key industry events.
• Effective at amplifying content distribution, especially when content is related to key industry events.
