Without a doubt, iSpring software is the BEST product out there! However, it is becoming priced out of reality for small, non-profit agencies. I would have recommended this as the first purchase option 5 years ago, however pricing has become more of a determining factor for those asking me for recommendations.

Cons
iSpring Suite
- The software is in constant revision, so if you search for help online, be sure you are researching the correct revision. There is a lot of debris information about iSpring Suite online.
- The Presentation and Publishing features are somewhat intimidating at first. Be sure you pay attention to every detail. The training I develop is pretty standardized, so I was able to write instructions for myself to follow to ensure each instance was set up the same way each time.
- There are a lot of 'extras' I never use, such as characters and interactions, so be sure your style of training development is aligned with what iSpring has to offer.

The software integration was appealing to our department--particularly to the faculty who had not, prior to the pandemic, taught online--because it integrates with an already known entity: PowerPoint. Furthermore, iSpring's assessment builder with its wide variety of questions is extremely easy to use--basically plug and play--for any level of comfort that a faculty member has in terms of online teaching.

We haven't had an issue with iSpring support in the time we have been using the application. The few times we have reached out for advice, we have been sent replies within a day. This is only due to the time zone difference. There have been times when troubleshooting has resulted in a message that the function we were looking for or the content we were looking to create is not possible, but in every case, our request has been passed onto the development team for follow up and possible integration with future patches.

Therer are several other interactive video creation tools out there, such as Camtasia, Adobe Captivate and even PowerPoint on its own, but none of them come close to offering the galaxy of features that is served up by iSpring Suite, and it's the easiest to learn and use with affordable price tags

Return on Investment
iSpring Suite
- A very positive impact is being able to complete the whole authorting process based on the work of one single professional (author). Before iSpring, we needed to involve a technical person to create pages, animations, interactions, etc. It means cost reductions and time saving.
- The product has a low price when compared to similar competitors. It is a great advantage when it is necessary to purchase licenses for many users.
- Medium learning curve. It does not take too long to train someone new to use the tool, but the final product should be simple at first. Depending on the size of a course or amount of objects to generate, productivity may be an issue depending on the knowledge level of the authoring users.
