Kallidus Learn vs. Talentsoft from Cegid

It is great for just about any organization that does onboarding and training as it saves time and assists in keeping your team on track while bringing on new people. It helps to streamline a typically very difficult process for smaller teams. It has helped us immensely.

I think some of my problems with Talentsoft aren't so much the fault of the software as it is how my company is organized. I have to enter many different property levels so that a review gets created, I'm not certain that these fields are required by Talentsoft or by my corporate office. This software is not suited for companies where a segment of the employees do not have a company email address and/or access to a company computer

• Allows targeted training by staff group, role or location - simplifying access to specific training
• Web based and supported on various devices -allowing access via any web enabled device
• Entirely customisable - Easy to make the system look the way we need to ensure corporate image

• Having the reviews in Talentsoft makes it much easier for one person to manage the entire process from start to finish.
• When an employee switches managers during the year, the delegation feature makes it very easy to have the previous manager add their input to the employees review.
• Being able to have a daily import file from our HR system into Talentsoft helps in having the information in Talentsoft be current.

• Simpler hosting of e-learning - scorm objects can be slow AICC seems to be the best solution
• Options to link / interface with other workforce systems
• Greater flexibility of learning pathways

• Better integration with other tools in my opinion
• Better import/export functionality in my opinion
• Customisable reports

Staff satisfaction and ease of use

This is the only product I have used and it is great. I have not explored other options and we have not had the need to so far.

I think SuccessFactors is more flexible to customer needs when creating review templates and allowing access to goals year round. They also track changes for the goals. Talentsoft was selected by our corporate office before I started with the company.

• Significantly increased compliance of mandatory training
• supported more staff to choose elearning over face to face options, increasing efficiency
• Automated many of the admin processes that underpin training

• In my opinion, does not solve any real business problems
• In my opinion, high cost with weak functionality
