I like there is a special notifier that signalizes me about customers’ answers. I’m able to multitask using the platform, to call, and to see-through other tabs to gain important information for customers. They are some failures in App operation which are needed to be corrected. And sometimes my phone number falls into spam.

RingCentral Contact Center is extremely useful for tracking employee availability and working hours, particularly for remote employees. It is also helpful to be able to share certain skills between various employees so that customers dialing in have the best chance to get in touch with the correct contact immediately. RingCentral Contact Center is not ideal for lots of outbound outreach, particularly due to the phone number not coming in with the user's extension (and in our case, the number is an 800 number and looks more like spam), but for incoming calls it is very useful. The difference between a cold transfer and trying to conference someone on before you transfer is not always clear. Many people in the company often make mistakes, such as not being able to conference on the contact before transferring or accidentally hanging up on the conference, also affecting the others on the line.

RingCentral
  • Reliability: Our previous service was prone to outages, RingCentral Contact Center has been rock solid as long as we've used it.
  • Integration: Our IT team was able to build a custom RingCentral Contact Center dashboard on our website for our salespeople to manage inbound/ outbound calling. From there we were able to send call data directly into activities in our ERP (Acumatica).
  • Ease of use: It works well whether in the office or WFH (which many employees do regularly.

RingCentral
  • I have not experienced it firsthand, but I have heard that their customer service is hard to reach and to resolve issues.
  • Verification to login can be annoying with the number of steps required.
  • I do receive spam calls through the number, which i wish were filtered out.

If we haven't used the contact center for support is because the service is so good that make us not need to use it very often. However, I guess our IT team has found some useful features on it for system implementation, automation, and updates that have helped them to keep providing us with the right support as needed.

It's a really intuitive platform. All the buttons and sections are almost exactly where you would expect them to be. Navigating the platform is fairly easy, even for folks who have not used it before. I can usually just tell my colleagues to "go to the settings tab and you'll see the audio settings" and they are able to take it from there.

We honestly did not need much support but whatever we wanted was resolved via email and that experience was nice but took a bit of time

It was really straightforward to get our phone number ported over and start using the platform. The agent walked us through the steps and we were able to configure everything ourselves. Much easier to setup than some of the other platforms

The first contact center solution they tried to implement was based on the Asterisk system. This lasted for the first two or three months, the implementation was actually done “on the knee”. Through the same channel that we use now, the percentage of missed calls was about 35%, and this is one of the parameters that we had to improve - But the main thing that we had to do was to increase the efficiency of order processing, which was too low at first" .Solution selectionIn the process of choosing a solution for the contact center, I considered Cisco and Nortel hardware and software solutions, as well as MightyCall Enterprise software solutions.“The MightyCall Enterprise solution is designed to create pre-configured contact center packages for different applications and industries. Other important advantages of this solution for us were the flexibility to customize according to our customer requirements and the price/functionality ratio. Thus, we chose MightyCall Enterprise for our purposes.

  • With RingCentral Contact Center we were able to connect with our customers. The feature that allows the call to be sent to the first available rep ensured that this happened.
  • Also, my favorite feature is the call recording and transcription feature. This allowed me to get the customer's emails without asking them to repeat if I missed them the first time. Hence, happier customers and more meetings.
  • RingCentral Contact Center also made it very easy to set up a mailbox for customers to leave messages and reassure them that they've connected with the right person.
