Mitratech TalentReef vs. SignalHire

I rarely give 10/10, mainly because I have learned that that we can always learn new things and to grow. Thus, I feel that same applies to Talent Reef. While I struggled a bit in the beginning to use this application, It is probably that struggle that has made me a better user for being so persistent at using it. Now that I have more than just the basics I think for any size company the functionality of the program will work for them.

First of all, I would like to point out that the application is very popular by many companies. Whether you're in the sales department or any other department, whenever you want to find the contact information of any company executive, Signalhire will help you just in time. For example, I recently found the contact information of the CEO of the company I wanted to reach, thanks to the application.

• We've been with talentReef nearly 2 years and our last 2 account managers have been great! Support was a concern right after we converted, but we were able to gain an account rep and began weekly calls until all the holes were plugged in.
• Linking ATS data and onboarding data eliminates the need for the applicant/new hire to enter the same information twice.
• We're now receiving system emails regarding upcoming new releases, which is helpful.

• I don't understand why SignalHire presents itself as a recruitment tool when in fact it is perfect for sales. With SignalHire I can find contact details of potential prospects by their Linkedin accounts and by contact details I don’t only mean emails but also phone numbers which a lot similar tools have difficulty finding. Its accuracy is a lot higher than other apps I have used when it comes to emails.

• If any organization is looking to use TalentReef, I would suggest they make sure they have a project lead. TalentReef is a customizable platform that can be used to help your business. Your business will only get the full use out of the program if someone from within leads the project and communicates what they need from TalentReef. TalentReef can provide the basic needs, but the true value comes when you customize the program.

• Phone number finding can be improved as it is precisely correct less than 50% of time. Also generally similar apps have built in CRM systems which I think SignalHire should implement as well. Also I wish the number of free credits was higher since you get 5 credits and when I tried this for the first time three out of five emails were wrong and I almost opted for another tool.

We have had very few issues with talentReef, but when we did they were resolved quickly and in a timely manner.

TalentReef has a better interface than SnagAJob, but that is just about it. SnagAJob did a very good job in applicant flow, however, they also advertise for other companies during the application process which is a major downside to their system. Newton is far superior not only with pricing but in support and functionality. After only 60 days with the system, I could not imagine going back to TalentReef ever again.

Normally, we have used other applications than SignalHire, but if you ask what's the difference, the first one is that it gives you 100% correct information and the cost is suitable for every pocket. So the information provided by most applications may be wrong, but I did not encounter this in SignalHire.

• The impact in terms of I-9's and E-Verify being completed accurately and quickly is immense. It is tough to put a price or ROI on avoiding any legal complications.
• All of our corporate locations now "speak the same language" in terms of applicants and new hire on-boarding.

• It is our biggest helper in not losing time for company employees because it finds and gives you the information in a few seconds without wasting time, without searching for hours.
• Of course, it has an expense in terms of money, but it deserves it with the time and efficiency it saves.
