Perceptyx vs. Slido

I think the software is well suited for targeted feedback for large organizations. I think product marketing teams could use the software as well. I think it competes directly and does a better job than SurveyMonkey. The platform feels more mature. I think this would work very well for politicians to be able to use to invite constituents to provide feedback on local, state, and national govt.

Slido is great to use for live meetings, whether in person or via video conference; we mostly use this for Zoom meetings. You can use the different features at different times in your meeting: I love to start our All Hands meetings with a word cloud or a poll of some kind, and as people are joining via zoom it gets people feeling excited and connected even before we've started. It also gives us something fun to talk about while we're waiting for everyone to arrive and for the meeting to start. You can do a poll halfway through to keep people engaged, and then a poll at the end to see how you did, or maybe use the Q&A to see what questions come up without having the awkward zoom silence when you ask if anyone has any questions. I don't think this is helpful in smaller meetings, where people likely feel more comfortable interacting directly and asking questions verbally.

• I really like the customizability of the platform. As a user it is easy to navigate and provides ample opportunity to write in reviews.
• The ability to save information on the platform is great. So users can stop and start a review at their leisure
• I really like the ability to email to remind users to finish a survey. This keeps users engaged and reminds them to finish.

• Easy for event attendees to access thanks to the intuitive event code system.
• Easy to set up q&a segments, including moderation and reddit-style up-voting to ensure the best questions are seen and answered.

• Offering suggestions on how best to provide feedback in comment boxes. Perhaps forcing the creators of the surveys to list examples to help reviewers

I like Perceptyx because it feels like a more mature platform. This is what the executive team at my company has used to survey. The ability to integrate into email platforms to send out to the whole organization is valuable, and the ability to save answers gives employees time to think and carefully provide the best answers to the survey questions

I haven't evaluated other competitors, as I have seen Slido in action at an event and I was immediately hooked. That being said, I should bee looking at Slido's competitors, just to do my due diligence and ensure I'm familiar with the market landscape. I'm satisfied so far with what Slido's offering.

• Slido is a lightweight – it doesn't take forever to load – and intuitive tool, which has been encouraging user participation.
