Postfity.com vs. Scoop.it Content Director

This is a great tool for someone who is a small business owner and needs to get posts out fast. It gives great ideas to use instantly vs having to harvest your own content.

Scoop.it does have collaboration features so you can have more than one admin add content to a topic, but there is no platform for collaboration or drafting of content. It is easy to try out the free version and get a good idea of what the application does, and then add on features from there

• Provides suggestions daily for each of your topics depending on keywords you choose. There is no guesswork about what to share.
• Allows sharing of your content to various social media outlets with the touch of a button. Your content gets spread quickly.
• Your own beautiful front page functions as your website. It shows the curator profile, and all your topics.

• Analytics could be way more in depth. I get more data from Facebook itself.
• I'm not sure the cover photo tab makes sense unless you are changing it all the time.

• When we first implemented the usage of Scoop.it the topics of search were very limited, but as the popularity grows, so does the number of searchable topics.

The search engine housed within Scoop it delivers the most up to date articles based on the criteria I have provided it.

Hootsuite is very similar but seems to have gone up in cost over the years. This is very affordable compared to others. Hubspot requires you to be a user of their CMS to use similar features as Postify.com.

We used both social sites and as a personal preference, I liked Scoop.it considerably more because of the layout of the site and the ease of the user experience. It was also much easier to share content. I like to think of Scoop.it as the "short, sweet and to the point" website that gives me exactly what we need, when we need it and the manner in which it easiest to use.
