RunSignUp vs. TicketLeap

It is well suited for when you are hosting an event and need a one-stop-shop for information and registration needs on one platform. It may be less appropriate for smaller-scale events but for anything 50+ I would say this is much easier than trying to use one point of contact.

Ideally suited for non-profits or small organizations that want to retain as much of their ticket revenues as possible, AND reduce the impact of fees on their patrons. You would also need to be EXTRA careful when setting up, it's hard to correct mistakes after the fact. e.g. not being able to change the order tickets are displayed, I literally had to delete tickets and re-enter them as new tickets to get them in the desired order

• Their fee structure is very competitive, particularly for tickets that are $5 or less
• Provides some flexibility with registration questions and specific ticket types

• Additional information on participants.
• Messaging to users or participants.
• Calendar function is hard to use.

• I think prtintable tickets when needed are currently not good, full page per ticket, ouch

I liked RunSignUp much more as it was much better suited for what we were looking to use it for and do. The functionality matched our needs and we were able to fine-tune exactly what we needed from the system without losing too much of the user experience.

Since Eventbrite changed their plans and how they charge for using their platform, it would have cost us a lot more to keep using it for a small number of events each year. Ticketleap was great because their fee assessments are lower than any other platform we could find, and with the ability to pass those on to the patron...we lowered the financial impact on those buyers as well.

• RunSignUp makes it easy to update our race page from year to year by pulling from the previous year’s event.
