SC Training vs. WorkRamp

EdApp is great if you want to have internal training and do not want to waste time for the agency to understand your business, you do it yourself. It’s great for field structures as it’s built for mobile and built to be snappy - great time saver! It’s not yet great in the area of Power BI dashboards and customizable reports for usage.

WorkRamp is well suited for Employee Onboarding, Continuous Training, and Ad Hoc training assignments. We specifically use it to roll out training on new products that roll out so that we don't tie up hours of people's time to meet in person and roll it out in a live setting

• Some operations on a big list of users (2000) are complicated
• Database setup has to be done tagged manually
• It does not provide an option to send newsletters for selected accounts
• It would be nice to have more options to manage unused accounts

• Auto tagging resources by keywords being used can be helpful to the party in charge of maintaining the information.

It’s really easy! After the onboarding with the app I’m able to ‘spit out’ a course within 1hr. That means I can now do pre-work for any meeting and see who did it and also shorten meeting time that usually was wasted on explanation of the topic. The mobile access made it simple for everyone and lead to our field force employees finding time for development between client visits.

WorkRamp has allowed us to keep employees up to date on the most recent trainings so that the entire workforce is working on the same information. It has also allowed us to roll out that training on an ad hoc basis vs gathering everyone together for live training, which can be delayed with calendar conflicts

They have a live person on the line. Easy going and responsive. Problem was resolved within 17mins when I anticipated it would take hours!

EdApp has an easier interface. It allows you to start building whole courses with many lessons within first hours of use. It’s design looks more professional which results in a better fit for business environment. Unlike Kahoot!, it’s not recognised as ‘the thing my kids have at school’ - important factor in terms of user approach to content provided in lessons.

WorkRamp has better user experience and user interface.

• It started ‘binge learning’ thanks to 8min average time needed to complete a lesson
• It allowed a 93% completion rate for field force training materials (up from 47%)
• It allowed for easy and attractive implementation of mandatory content (compliance/lex)
