AB Tasty continues to drive us forward as a business

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this to do personalisation and ab testing on our website. We wanted to use this tool so that we could test out new features before they were built / launched by our development teams, to help us improve online customer journeys and push further customers down the online funnels.

Pros

  • Personalisation
  • AI analysis
  • Ab testing

Cons

  • Customer success / support team
  • Communicating tool updates

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have the budget and can build your own tests / QA yourself then this tool would be ideal. If you need a lot of support then maybe another tool with better communication plans would be suited better

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use AB Tasty in our organization to run ab tests, though sometimes we use it to for personalizations. This tool is very useful for us when working with mid/big size clients. It has a lot of useful features to set up campaigns in an advance way. One thing to highlight about AB Tasty is the fact that they are always innovating.

Pros

  • segmentations
  • reporting inside the tool
  • capability to integrate ad-ons to the test's variants
  • chat support

Cons

  • integration with GA4 needs to improve
  • QA needs be easier
  • Improve QA on mobile

Likelihood to Recommend

It is a top tier tool, this is for advance use. It needs some expertise and people need to have an idea of how to configure the tests. A highlight about AB Tasty is that, unlike other tools, this one is not charging you extra fees for everything. The plans are very complete and provide a lot, may be even more than needed.

Powerful, Flexible & Really Easy to Use Tool

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use AB Tasty mainly in our design cycle, in order to confirm hypotheses, designs, or business initiatives. AB Tasty is a really important part of our product cycle, and product owners and designers still need to be evangelized.

Pros

  • Support: the CSMs (big up Eloise) are great, and support us a lot on different topics/aspects, which is not always the case for other solutions.
  • Client-side: It is really easy to use, flexible, and there are no technical issues.
  • The devs: the developers at AB Tasty are really reactive, and provide big support. Some of our AB tests are really complex, but we have never had any issues during the dev phase.

Cons

  • Client-side: some modules/features need a bit of 'renewing'. For example, the WYSIWYG still looks a bit dated.
  • IA: I would like to see if you might be planning to provide personalization based on an algorithm.

Likelihood to Recommend

The client-side is really interesting for small organizations or organizations where there are not enough resources. It's really flexible and allows us to launch really quick AB tests without any dev intervention. We do it a lot for business initiatives or to update the website.

Great tool, great customer support. Great return on investment

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am using AB Tasty in order to help my clients improve customer experience, online journey, and conversion rate on their site and applications. I create an AB Test, select the audience, and trigger and plan my goals for results.

Pros

  • No code AB Testing
  • Personalization
  • Integration with other platforms

Cons

  • Reporting
  • Data transparency

Likelihood to Recommend

Ready to use AB Testing software. Great support from the help center and from chat.

Fast way to test our hypotheses

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use the solution to improve our hypotheses on our website. The market credit is very difficult, and we don't know all the time how to talk with our customers, AB Tasty is a good way to test and learn about the needs of your clients. We use it most of the time in our conversion funnel, but we use it everywhere on the website.

Pros

  • Usage very easy
  • Lot of features are available
  • See our result fast

Cons

  • They changed very often, but most of the time we are lost when we arrived at a new interface. Maybe more communication when something new is coming.

Likelihood to Recommend

AB Tasty is very easy to test some different wording or design on our website. We can do it fast and see our results very quickly. On the other side, it's just tested very easily and not really secure for the back-end part. For that, we have to use Flagship, which is another platform to add to our scope.

AB Tasty: Easy to use

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use AB Tasty in the Marketing team mainly for AB testing on the website, including the exclusion of certain target groups like newsletter recipients. We also use it for easy website modifications like temporary info banners, pop-ins, or overlays. We are sure we have not even reached 20% of what AB Tasty is able to do.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Intuitive

Likelihood to Recommend

As mentioned, we use it for AB tests on the website displaying different vouchers, specials, etc. During Christmas time we launched a Christmas shop on the website, which we were able to advertise once to each customer and hide the info for returning customers. Also, we can distinguish the customers by using UTM parameters, which makes it easy to exclude certain target groups.

No need for gut feeling anymore

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We starting working with AB Tasty a few months ago with the Marketing department. The ease of use makes it really accessible to set up a test without any help. We are already seeing the results of the ab test that we did. The support of AB Tasty is great. They work with you towards your goals and are proactive in thinking with you. After their training, you are fully ready to start to make your customer journey even better.

I would definitely recommend AB Tasty for their software and their support!

Pros

  • Support
  • The variation software
  • The ease of use

Cons

  • If you have many different websites, it takes a bit of managing

Likelihood to Recommend

Ideal software to have great and profitable a/b tests. We have done several a/b tests now and already seeing the results. No longer rely on gut feelings but now have proof with data!

MagnifiCRO working with AB Tasty has always achieved great results!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AB Tasty is used in the E-commerce or Marketing department working closely with Web Development. It is used mainly to validate issues detected and to enhance the personalization experience. Once the tool is fully implemented, it gives us accurate information for our hypothesis, following a complete conversion optimization methodology.

Pros

  • Number of experiments is unlimited.
  • Experiments can overlap or not (I prefer not having overlapping).
  • Widgets feature is great because you can quickly validate best practices.

Cons

  • Google Analytics integration is fine but it requires code developing.
  • Sometimes the information received is not accurate and they have to apply manual internal processes in order to fix it.
  • Automatic insights about audience performance (ex. for an experiment running, giving info about public coming from Spain buy less).

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited scenarios:

<ul><li>Running many experiments at once.</li><li>Conversion knowledge into the company.</li></ul>

Less appropriate scenarios:

<ul><li>Not having a development team (you can't make the best of the tool without implementing extra code).</li><li>The price depends on traffic so for huge traffic projects, the monthly fee can be a barrier.</li><li>It would be nice to buy the tool with a traffic limit and use it in as many projects as you like.</li></ul>

Great tool, easy to use, 100% recommend

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use AB Tasty to optimize the Pets at Home site and carry out A/B testing. Several departments use the tool as the tool offers much more than just A/B Testing. The ability to change our site in real-time, serves an experience that helps the end-user.

Pros

  • Real-time changes - Ability to change and set an experience live in minutes. Without the need of a developer.
  • Widgets - Being able to easily create experiences live with the ready to use widgets available from the AB Tasty library.
  • Targeting experiences - Wide range of targeting options available, which allows us to easily target different customers and segments.

Cons

  • Variation editor - It's pretty great but definitely room for improvement. More functionality would be great.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need to inform customers of a change for e.g. delivery delays you can easily do something like this in real-time via AB Tasty, without the need to wait for an overnight propagation, which some CMSs require.

Why we chose AB Tasty

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AB Tasty is being used by my Digital &amp; Marketing team for a lot of different reasons. Firstly, we use it as a way to reach specific targets with personalized content, thanks to the use of a DMP that is directly connected to AB Tasty. We are then able to customize our own banner according to the user. Secondly, thanks to AB Tasty's Editor, we are also able to integrate a chatbot that we have developed. We can specify where we want it to appear on our website, on which specific pages, and we can also pause it if there is a problem we need to address.

Pros

  • Intuitive editor
  • Complex targeting

Cons

  • Mobile QA Testing

Likelihood to Recommend

AB Tasty is well suited for improving your customer's journey on your website, by testing where some content should go according to your visitors' trends. If, however, an update to your website brings to light some problems, there is always the possibility of "hiding" the problems with AB Tasty, or correcting them temporarily while you work on your solution.
