Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my organization, we use Adobe Acrobat mostly for opening PDF files, editing, and organizing pages or images. We also create editable forms and share them with clients using the Acrobat Share feature. We also convert PDF files to multiple formats. For example, to DOCX, Excel, JPEG, PNG, and other formats. We also use Adobe Acrobat on our phones, which helps us to use these advanced features on the go.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Being able to scan several documents at once and then sort them to save scanned files separately. I can make notes when needed to explain things or point out something before sending a file. Being able to create fill-in forms makes routine documents easier and more uniform, since the basic info is locked down.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Adobe Acrobat is used to create and edit documents, as well as sign contracts and fill out forms. We use it to create fillable forms, newsletters, contracts, presentation materials, etc. Adobe helps us combine multiple types of material generated on other platforms (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) into one cohesive document to be distributed to relevant groups.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As the Communications Manager at my Company, I rely on Acrobat to send easy-to-open, mobile-friendly collateral to many different departments. I also need to work fast, so I now use Acrobat's ability to summarize long PDFs. When in the field, I use Google Workspace for Word docs and spreadsheets; Acrobat makes it easy to convert those docs into a PDF, saving me time and making sure everyone without access to specific software can still read the information.

  • Analyzing and recognizing text an images in edit mode.
  • Size reduction of larger PDFs.
  • When preparing forms, Acrobat intuitively recognizes where to place the form text and check boxes.

Cons

  • I would love the ability to have a quick context toolbar that I can move around my document so that I can close the larger toolbar on the left when editing the PDF.

Return on Investment

  • Definitely a positive ROI when I can receive clear notes/direction on edits for a PDF via Acrobat's comment system, rather than chicken scratch on a printed document.
  • The ability to password-protect my PDFs so I can make sure only the workforce I want to see the information has been priceless!
  • As I mentioned before, a huge positive impact is the ability to edit PDFs without having to return to the original file's native software.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

There is no better software or really any substitute for acrobat in our organization. We need to send documents often via email and with acrobat we know that the receiver will be able to open the attachments without worry. The fact that Adobe provides Reader at no charge has been a godsend for our business. We are proud users of the entire suite of Adobe products

Cons

  • It could integrate better with other software. e.g. the software does not work very well anymore with Outlook for example.
  • It could be easier to send pdfs via email and upload to other people
  • It would be great if AI intergrated better with it.

Return on Investment

  • The universality of the software saves us money because we do not need to worry about others being able to read documents sent.
  • It is nice to be able to take documents of any kind, merge them with the software and produce combined pdfs that can be sent as one file.
  • A time saver I use often is taking a photo with text save it as a pdf and then edit the pdf in acrobat copying the text instead of having to rewrite the wording.
