Alchemer is a fantastic tool that allows a vast array of survey options. It does have a bit of a learning curve though.
I am currently using Alchemer to collect data on a cognitive assessment I've built for another company. I'm also using Alchemer panels to collect the data.
Pros
Many different question types
Easy ways to test the survey
Priced well
Can use individual passcodes for people to take surveys
Cons
The CSR's are nice but not that helpful
There aren't great ways to upload survey questions
Downloading data can be a little clunky

It is well suited for creating surveys with a variety of questions and collecting data. If you need to create surveys quickly or make broad changes to the survey often, this would be a difficult platform to work with.

With this software, we can easily know what our clients think about services and know where to improve to be better. Alchemer has been very beneficial.

We've used Alchemer (formerly SurveyGizmo) in my current district to obtain large data sets of input from parents, staff, and students. It is easy to use and can quickly collect data that can be easily analyzed.
Pros
ease of use
inexpensive
easy for those on the receiving end to respond
Cons
downloading content into different graphic organizers
Likelihood to Recommend
Easy to use with teachers, staff, and students. Students can create simple and complex data gathering surveys, as can staff. We've used for smaller scale collections of staff and larger scale with the greater community.
Alchemer is being used both to address internal as well as client needs. Internally, we have created several forms and targeted notifications to convey internal departmental need. This standardizes the collection of data to various departments to initiate work orders, resource requests, checking in and out equipment , various requests, etc. We also use Alchemer for dates a collection and bounce back client programs.
Pros
Capability
Flexibility
User Support
Cons
Back end hosting
Higher file size thresholds for uploads

Alchemer is one of the most flexible offerings in its category. We find new ways to leverage Alchemer year over year. For more advanced forms and surveys, it is useful to have some foundational skills to better conceive and style your solutions. That is a small trade off in exchange for the capability and flexibility it provides. In the absence of [these] foundation skills, a more pedestrian solution may be [better] suited to one's needs.
We have been using Alchemer surveys to conduct market research and sometimes we use it for baseline as well as endline studies for our CSR programs in the community. The experience has been good so far: the app is easy to use, compliant to respondents protection policies, secure and it easily integrates with [our] organization's IT infrastructure.
Pros
The app has features such as logic which enhances compliance, etc.
The app has good inbuilt error tracking systems that are able to detect the challenges associated with some choices of question types and provides alternatives especially for calendars .
The global library for questions and templates makes life much easier for surveys that don't require reinventing the will.
Cons
I think the prices are on the higher side compared to other providers on the market.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think the app is ideal to almost all settings except for surveys that seeks personal identifiers.

I work at a large corporation that performs many internal surveys for employee feedback after town-halls. Furthermore, I work on a smaller team that performs process audits via on-site customer visits and engages with external employees via a variety of survey tools. My team, and a variety of other administrative teams, in my organization utilize SurveyGizmo in order to attain the necessary data in order to accomplish our business objectives. SurveyGizmo offers the organization, and my business-specific team, the ability to effectively strategize, plan, and deploy surveys and then effectively track and analyze the results. Overall, SurveyGizmo helps my organization do more work, analyze results, and inform decision makers in an incredibly reliable way.
Pros
Fantastic integration with external tools such as Salesforce.
The platform is consistently being provided with recognizable upgrades. It speaks to the continuous improvement nature of the platform.
Data analyzation is incredibly efficient. One can export survey results to a variety of formats for quick use.
Cons
New features come out often - but pricing on additional features can be quite steep.
Creating surveys for mobile devices has been a bit more difficult than my experience on other platforms.
If you update a template, your previous surveys are not automatically updated. Therefore, if you want to utilize a previous survey, you'll have to manually re-work to apply those changes.

SurveyGizmo works extremely well as a platform for receiving survey responses. As a survey/business analytics tool, the platform offers extensive options for customization and deployment of professional questionnaires. Our team has found SurveyGizmo to be extremely well suited for the modern administrative employee. Surveys are relatively easy to create, deploy, and manage responses in real time. Furthermore, monitoring / managing the results enables businesses to provide any necessary follow-up based on key results. Our team spends quite a bit of time testing out survey tools and have found SurveyGizmo to be a solid option for the needs of our team. Furthermore, we have recommended the platform to other departments within our organization that have uniquely different skillsets from our own. Overall, we see SurveyGizmo as a tool that can be used across most organizational teams if implemented with the specific user-experience in mind.
SurveyGizmo is being used for our Patient-Centered Research initiatives. We work with corporate partners to develop questions and provide data from our constituents. It is a very useful tool because it helps streamline our survey process and allow for detailed and quality responses that can be used for future studies in hopes of improving outcomes for our patients.
Pros
Streamlines the survey process and provides quality data.
Provides a wide variety of question types and filtering options in order to ensure the proper questions are being asked.
Better improves outcomes for constituents/patients.
Easy to edit and reformat questions as desired.
Easy to navigate, export data, and create reports.
Cons
Duplicate protection needs improvement. Anyone who would like to start a survey and finish at a later time is unable to which limits total survey responses.
Password protection option can be a challenge when uploading spreadsheets with pre-populated data.
Logic and piping options for questions can be difficult when designing more complicated and in-depth surveys, which requires a lot of testing.
Follow-up surveys do not provide an option for survey takers to review their previous survey responses, which may provide less accurate data when comparing individuals across multiple surveys.
Would like the option to link surveys together in order to more easily track data from individuals across multiple surveys and save previous survey data.
Likelihood to Recommend
SurveyGizmo is well suited for complex research surveys that require a lot of detailed data from constituents. It is also the ideal platform to use when incentives such as gift cards are given to survey completers. It may not be as appropriate in other departments that don't collect this level of detailed data from constituents.

Survey Gizmo is being used in the organization primarily for surveys used to identify consumer and product opportunities, path to purchase research, brand research, and trade-off analysis. It's only used in the marketing research department by maybe 4-5 people casually, but I'm the power user for Survey Gizmo and developing surveys.
Pros
Cost effective
Solves complicated analysis
Survey platform
Cons
Not the best user experience in developing long surveys
Not a completely seamless integration of redirects
Could be better skip logic
Likelihood to Recommend
Survey Gizmo is perfect for developing short surveys, doing trade-off analysis (conjoint and maxdiff), and is a good cost-effective alternative to the more expensive platforms out there.
We use Survey Gizmo for numerous projects across our organization, from marketing to customer support to product. Each department has different uses for the tool, and due to the flexibility and customizations available, each department can build surveys to fit their unique needs. We conduct customer surveys, external surveys, and also use it for internal feedback from employees.
Pros
The numerous options you can pick from to build survey questions
Reporting capabilities, ranging from exports in Excel to visualizations
The ease of use. Anyone can figure out how to use the tool
Cons
Ability to make certain survey results private
Some of the questions aren't easy to manipulate in terms of how they render on the survey visually
More customizations for the look and feel of the survey page
Likelihood to Recommend
SurveyGizmo is easy to learn, provides great reporting, and can be used across multiple teams. I would recommend it for a cost effective survey tool.
