We use Axcient x360Cloud as our primary backup for Microsoft emails as well as Sharepoint.

The problem it addresses is that if an email is compromised and an attacker deletes everything we have a point of return as well as if some other bad actor such as a terminated employee.

Likelihood to Recommend

Axcient x360Cloud is a good product if a backup solutions is needed for 365 products.

If the backup is constantly being used and restores need to happen frequently I can see how Axcient x360Cloud could be annoying as the search functionality is lacking.

It is also difficult to find specific files or emails as well as subfolders.

We manage the IT for 50 companies who use Office 365 with Axcient x360Cloud. Most companies are unaware that Microsoft's retention policies aren't a backup and this is where Axcient fits in. We've had many occasions where we've needed to restore snapshots to recover emails from users who have left the company, etc. x360 Cloud gives us as administrators and clients the peace of mind that all their 365 cloud data is being backed up and easily recoverable if and when required.

Likelihood to Recommend

We've had the best experiences when needing to recover emails from snapshots and date ranges which have been deleted. The Smart Search works relatively well and is easy to recover. Sometimes the restoration process can take a while depending on the size and amount of emails but is generally ok.

Axcient x360Recover has provided a great service for our customers through the ability to backup and restore cloud documents.

I have always had good service with Axcient x360Recover and have only had to reach out to them on a couple of occasions.

We did a extensive POC and ultimately decided to not completely migrate over to Axcient x360Cloud due to one major issue we had which was the lack of daily backup verification meaning that the back up that was taken is not verified working daily as it is with some other vendors however most of the other toolset impressed us quite a bit and we deployed on a few different solutions.

If you are not looking for the daily backup boot verification for security purposes then the Axcient x360Cloud solution is great. The team I would with was top notch and they definitely went above and beyond. I would say all the backup solutions Axcient x360Cloud offers is some of the best in the business.
