We genuinely liked NFG and would've stayed if it were at a different price point. As a nonprofit, we often have to make difficult decisions about pricing, and this was one of them. We enjoyed using it for donor management and communications. Unless they've upgraded, I'd say we had to use an outside service for Peer-to-Peer fundraising, but otherwise it was a good tool.
Bonterra Network for Good has many features that are very attractive to our organization and that help me save time. It is a fantastic Donor Management system that allows us to track donor interactions, donations, & volunteer time. It also has some really great communication features whether you want to send an email, text or direct mail piece to your donors. You can also run online campaigns easily from their software as well as Silent Auctions. One of their new features Que has been extremely helpful. Que is their new AI assistant to your development team. I've been able to craft letters for year end and thank you's using Que. You can also receive helpful suggestions and coaching from anything as simple as which donors may be ones to reach out to regarding monthly giving or how should you approach lapsed donors or increase donor retention. I have found their AI tool to be supremely helpful.
Pros
Customer Service A+++! They are very responsive & helpful.
Is an all in one system. It has all of the tools we need.
Their new AI assistant Que is super helpful and reliable.
Cons
As they have grown, I have had some functionality issues like Gateway errors, but they are on top of addressing technical issues quickly and with ongoing communication.

Bonterra Network for Good's customer service is one of the best. Not only do they problem solve technical issues with you, but they are very open on ways to make the platform better. Have a need or idea on ways to improve the software? They not only listen, but actively seek to improve the platform on a continual basis. They don't just stop with the product. There are continuous innovations happening that make it one of my favorite tools.
Bonterra Network for Good contains our donor base. We also use it to create/send eblasts, keep track of donations and fundraising, and send thank you letters.

Cons
The different options used to crop/adjust pictures

I like the ease of the thank you notes and the templates for eblasts There could be more editing choices or better instructions on how to use the editing side of the page when adding/editing pictures when creating eblasts.
We use Bonterra Network for Good for a variety of purposes including fundraising, email blasts, and newsletters. There may be other ways I'm not aware of and we are looking into using more functions of the platform like volunteer management. It's incredibly helpful for all of these functions to be included in one platform, so our team is very excited to explore more options for utilization.
Pros
Email Blasts

Fundraising Tracking
Cons
We can't have two people working in an "email blast" at the same time. It causes changes not to be saved.

I'm not the only person who uses the platform in our organization. I primarily use it for email blasts, but it seems really well suited for all of the purposes I'm aware of (email blasts, newsletters, CRM management, fundraising, volunteer management). I'm not sure where it would be less appropriate.
We use Bonterra Network for Good for donor communication. We send emails, keep updated contact information, and occasionally use the text feature. We use the software to run and manage fundraising campaigns. Our everyday giving and specialty campaigns for specific events are all handled with Network for Good. Along with that, we use Network for Good to run reports and gain insight about the success of our organization.

Campaign management
Donor communication

Donor management
Cons
Capability to set up automations

As a small organization (less than 10 people), it is imperative to have a system that works. Network for Good is a great example of that system. It is a one-stop shop for all of the things required to run a non-profit organization. There are some features that would benefit us as a small organization, such as being able to customize who has access to what versus only having a handful of roles to chose from and being able to set up automations. However, the success that we've had with Network for Good outweighs the things that it lacks and hopefully these are features that will be considered in the near future.
We mainly use it to track our donors and donations. It has been a great tool to keep track of everything. We receive all of our donations through Network for Good and it helps to keep everything together. We can then send a thank you letter through Network for Good's communication tool. It is a great service.
Pros

I have created multiple donation campaigns through Network for Good and they have helped our organization out greatly. These have been donation campaigns for our Career Readiness Program department were we help young adults aged 18-25 found a career. Network for Good helps us get the donation and track them. Then we are able to send direct letter to them as well.
It is a high quality and user friendly Database of all of our donors. We actively use text, video, email, bulk mailing options to stay closely connected with our donor base. The available templates make communication seamless

We are a small faith based non profit working in Africa and Haiti. We have limited N. American staff. They make donor management and donor donations very easy for a small staff to manage
A central contact point for running a fundraising event. Advertising, communication, ticket sales, donor and sponsor promotion, and online auctions. In my case, I was running a county-wide fundraising event with only a few other volunteers to assist. So using the Network for the Good website as a single point of contact for fundraisers, sponsors, and donors saved time and effort. No need for additional paperwork or administrative functions. We used the ticket sales feature at the event to acknowledge donations and admissions paid for in advance. After the event completed we networked back to all our donors and sponsors o thank them for their generosity and save a list of contacts for use in other campaigns.
Pros
Ease of Website setup.
Financial management.
Running an auction.
Communication.
Cons
Reporting stats and donor info.
Integration with social channels.
Close out reporting.

I used Network for the Good to run a fundraising event it was awesome. My organization is part of a larger regional non-profit dedicated to servicing those in our community who need a little help. By banding together under a larger regional organization, we can extend our impact through the utilization of Network for the Good across all associated organizations. It empowers smaller groups to have a larger impact on their community.
