Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am on the web services team. We build websites for our clients. This job requires many meetings with multiple clients on a daily basis. It takes a lot of organization skills to keep all of our meetings in order. Chili Piper fills this role. Our ability to send invites, schedule meetings, and cancel meetings is highly effective with Chili Piper.

Pros

  • Creates links for our clients to schedule a meeting
  • Integrates good with my Outlook calendar
  • User experience is clear because I have never had a client say they could not figure Chili Piper out.

Cons

  • When Chili Piper goes down it can be stressful.
  • Creating a new meeting type is a bit complicated.
  • Blocking out time on the calendar is a little confusing at first.

Likelihood to Recommend

My days are made up of many meetings because I am always working on multiple projects at the same time. Chili Piper makes creating meeting links for multiple clients at the same time very easy. With my busy schedule, it requires that I have time blocked off so I can work on the projects. Chili Piper allows me to do both effectively.

Highly recommend, great ROI

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization originally purchased Chili Piper to solely use the form concierge but we now use both the concierge and individual links for reps to book all their meetings with prospects. The meeting links we a benefit after we switched from Outreach.iO which had its own scheduling function to Gong Engage which does not. So it was great we could use a different tool we were already paying for.

Pros

  • Form concierge booking
  • Personalized meeting pages
  • CRM integration

Cons

  • The ux interface could be easier to navigate for admins
  • The set up or meeting types could be more intuitive, as an admin I have had to help our reps set this up a lot as they have gotten confused
  • Chili Piper can have certain words they use like booker assignee which could be better defined in the onboarding process for reps

Likelihood to Recommend

Our form concierge has been great and we have seen an increase in conversion from prospect filling a form to then opening an opp. It has been much more successful than when we had reps reach out to form fills and has made the process for everyone so much easier.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Chili Piper for booking Demos and scheduling. It is integrated with Salesforce and Zoom and allows us to easily see where executives have gaps in their schedules. Allowing to invite customers to make changes to the appointment through the web interface frees up time as you don't need to reschedule yourself. At present, we only use instar booking and schedule.

Pros

  • Scheduling
  • Instant bookings
  • Integration
  • SSO

Cons

  • Adding multiple time slots
  • Time zones

Likelihood to Recommend

Any company with Sales Development Representatives should be using Chili Piper as it is easy to use and frees up resources and time to concentrate on booking more meetings and researching more companies. Technology businesses will be able to use it with their service departments as the agents will easily be able to schedule multiple appointments.

Just getting started with Chili Piper and early reviews are GREAT

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It was implemented at ABILITY in order to get leads/MQLs over to the sales team more quickly. It cut down the time to reach a member of the sales department from about 15 minutes to less than 5 minutes. The notifications could come in email but a decision was made to get it over to the sales team via Teams instead.

Pros

  • Quickly route sales leads
  • Immediately schedule meetings with sales
  • Faster handoff from SDR to sales team

Cons

  • Having only used it for a year there aren't any gaps I can see at this point
  • It did take us a while to implement and get it integrated but that could have been our procurement department more than anything on the Chili Piper end

Likelihood to Recommend

If you are in a fast paced sales organization then Chili Piper is a great tool. In a SaaS sales environment, minimizing the tile it takes to route a lead and schedule a meeting with sales is very important so Chili Piper is well suited to get the job done.

Chili Piper has been a huge help for our customer facing teams. The ease and speed by which they can coordinate meetings allows them to focus on the activities that mean the most for our business. We use the tool across many different use cases, and it has been instrumental in easing some of the administrative burden in our process.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Quick to implement
  • Clean interface

Cons

  • Nothing about the core functionality, just more features and functions!

Likelihood to Recommend

Good for companies of many sizes, easy to implement and maintain.

Chili Piper comes in 'hot' for scheduling purposes

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Chili Piper is being used across the whole organization. I use the tool schedule calls with prospects on behalf of my account executives. It addresses calendar/scheduling for the entire organization. For example, customer success teams utilize it meet with current clients to discuss customer complaints and/or positive feedback. Very easy to use.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Visibility of multiple employee calendars
  • Helps with rescheduling calls that have to move

Cons

  • More features to make changes to assignee of the meeting

Likelihood to Recommend

Chili Piper is well suited to schedule prospects and/or clients with ease. Hyper linking to emails or social media platforms such as LinkedIn provide more flexibility for both the sender and the person receiving the link. For example, if a prospect is not responsive to emailing, it could be sent via LinkedIn messaging.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Chili Piper in our sales department to book meetings. It allows SDRs to set a meeting from a list of all AEs or have is grouped by teams making sure the correct salesperson is scheduled for the meeting. The platform then queues up the next sales person who is in the rotation.

Pros

  • Set meetings with multiple people
  • Addresses meeting attendees in different time zones
  • Ability to schedule from email and outreach
  • Clear visibility into schedule to prevent double booking
  • Integration with Salesforce
  • Integration with outreach

Cons

  • Frequently need to turn extension on/off as disappears from gmail
  • Sometimes slow to load
  • Would like to be able to send update to one attendee without going to everyone

Likelihood to Recommend

The ability to set meetings as a SDR with multiple AE's using Chili Piper from my Gmail, Salesforce, or Outreach is very convenient and a time saver. I like that I can have my time zone and AEs time zone programmed into the platform. When I add a meeting with a prospect with their time zone it automatically sets it up.

Chili Piper - Heating up our salesa!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our SDR team uses it to book meetings with prospects for our sales teams. We can send a link and have the prospect pick the time or we can book it while on the phone very easily. Chili Piper will automatically add Zoom info on the calendar invitation.

Pros

  • Book Round Robin meetings (huge headache manually, which I've done at another non chili piper company)
  • Integrate with Salesforce for easy booking
  • Allow sending of time suggestions without blocking that calendar time
  • Send booking link to prospects

Cons

  • Chili Piper nails it when it comes to scheduling and salesforce integration - more features will be great to have like time suggestions based on email opens or something, but it's hard to say exactly what the new features will be.
  • Honestly it's hard to think of others

Likelihood to Recommend

Chili Piper is GREAT for sales development teams booking for sales people. This is especially true when there is a "round robin" system that needs to be abided by. I've experienced a lot of bad round robin systems and Chili Piper's is fantastic. This is also a great tool to schedule with people across multiple time zones, which I don't want to have to focus on while speaking. It enables sales reps to focus on the prospect, not the time change. Chili piper would not be a good fit for underperforming sales teams that don't book any meetings (:

Chili Piper eliminated call scheduling as a problem

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Chili Piper is used across our sales team. Before using Chili Piper it was a time consuming and cumbersome task to book demos. Chili Piper makes it much easier to book meetings with our prospects in a timely, organized fashion.

Pros

  • Expedites the process of booking important sales meetings
  • Automates the demo request process. Our prospects can book meetings directly on our calendars at the time of the demo request.

Cons

  • For my use of Chili Piper, I can't think of anything specific I would want to improve.

Likelihood to Recommend

Chili Piper is a valuable tool for all sales teams. Allowing AE's to easily schedule important demos and follow-up calls with very little if any lift required from the user.

A gamechanger for SDRs across the world

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our entire sales development team (50+) uses Chili Piper every day. As a scaling sales team, we ran into no-show issues and inconsistency with invites and messaging. After implementing Chili Piper our no-show rate went down nearly 40% and the team as a whole was able to schedule twice as many meetings at a faster rate.

Pros

  • Chili Piper integrates with Salesforce very well which I haven't seen other calendar apps do yet.
  • Meeting Buffer functionality assures that AEs won't be booked back-to back.
  • I can send the link to each of my meeting templates for different prospects

Cons

  • Faster load times, but we can’t complain too much!
  • It's an awesome tool, but at the end of the day, it's still just a calendar tool. I'm looking forward to their innovations and disrupting the market
  • Would be nice to be able to modify the email reminders for every single contact and event versus have set templates

Likelihood to Recommend

It is very well suited for anyone looking for a scheduling tool that integrates directly with Salesforce and/or Marketo, or other marketing automation platforms. Especially if you need to route to teams based on different regions or other criteria. There are other simpler scheduling tools out there, but this makes routing and tracking on the back end much easier with the best integration with other tools.
