Cornerstone Galaxy has a robust module for learning and performance is so easy to use and setup it is a great system to be able to utilize and connect with other modules
We use it primarily as our LMS. It helped us automate training assignments, better track completion rates, and easily distribute eLearning tailored to our needs. Having it sync with our HRIS means we are no longer missing employees who have started or left the company. Additionally, it has empowered our employees to learn on their own.

Security has a lot of layers and can be complex to set up.
The Mobile app is still lacking, for example employees cannot use it to register for ILT.

Cornerstone Galaxy is a good solution for larger companies that focus on training and want to offer a variety of options to their employees and departments. It is highly customizable. It does require a tech savvy team to set-up, and maintain. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it system. From an LMS perspective, it wouldn't be my top choice for employees who only need a mobile-friendly approach.

We have a company of roughly 500 employees and use Cornerstone Galaxy to ensure compliance and other mandated trainings are received and completed successfully, as well as utilize the system for career development pathways. The AI suggestions and ways in which we can customize the system to our users has helped us grow our training offerings and department to better serve our employees' needs for growing within the company. From onboarding to promotions, Cornerstone Galaxy ensures our employees have all they need. My only complaint is that from the admin side, sometimes Cornerstone Galaxy is not the most user friendly, especially in regards to terminology it uses. Things can get confusing for new users.

Cornerstone Galaxy has served us well in a corporate setting, but I don't see the benefit of it in K12 or higher education environments. Many of the functions that would be needed for more traditional classes would not be easily set up, and younger learners might struggle to use the system. However, adults in the workforce appreciate the interface that does not condescend or seem childish.
We use CSOD Learning & Checklists when feasible. Checklists are limited due to the limitation of validator views - can only limit by one OU which is why our enterprise cannot implement fully.

Support - this is the worst support experience I've EVER experienced. Every time we call, they take at least a day to respond and they try to rule out customer fault before even investigating the system. When they "escalate" an issue, they never provide updates without prompts.
Our account manager left and we were never notified.
Governance should be evaluated. CSOD should NEVER have the ability to remove content placed by the client. We are a HIGHLY regulated organization and they've recently removed our content from an external vendor. It's been down 96+ hours and we've had multiple site in regulatory surveys. This is unacceptable and an embarrassment for your company. The whole reason we upload the external content instead of CSOD is because the turnaround time is not acceptable and it's never run smoothly. They upload partial content and have removed things in the past.
The attitude of the account reps and lack of accountability from support and account reps. Took 96 hours to accept fault and never updated us with a plan to move forward.
The business model - always selling new material before fixing issues in current software.

My experience with Cornerstone Galaxy is really well. The system very easily responds to bulk upload of users data and also the email communication is easy to configure in different languages for multiple processes like notification or reminders. As an employee one can easily navigate to various forms and as a manager also they can quickly access forms and complete important activities like review performance of their reportees or provide feedback about any candidate whom they want to shortlist or reject. the best feature is about their single sign on feature SSO login provides Like I mentioned earlier there is always scope of improvement in any HR application, I'm really looking forward the ease of Dashboard creation and also the Security groups mapping and background verification feature introduced in the recruitment module

Cornerstone OnDemand has helped consolidate our training into one platform for easy access and use for our users. It can be tough to get people to use Cornerstone OnDemand but once they start using it, it is easy for them to navigate the system. It is nice that the system does not change all that much with updates and makes it pretty user friendly. Overall, I am satisfied with Cornerstone OnDemand and hope to implement new features that they have to offer in the near future.

Having a large company that is growing, it's nice to have one location where we can put all our trainings, and training materials. It is easy to search and access those things as well. I love the functionality it has to link videos, SharePoint docs, and much more with the URL option in adding materials. I do wish it was a little more user friendly with those who are not as technologically trained as the younger generation. and adding a little more integration options for the agricultural side of businesses would be nice as well.
As a medical device company, we are highly regulated. We must keep training records for all employee training that relates to their performing their job duties and tasks. Historically our company used different learning management systems in different product areas as these likely came with an acquisition of that area in the past. In 2018 our company set on a mission to steamline our organization to a single LMS. After a thorough analysis of the leading LMS vendors, Cornerstone OnDemand came out on top due to its ability to meet the compliance needs of a regulated company such as ours, in a way no other vendor could. Implementation has been challenging as we are not only learning a new system but also changing the way we operate by bringing onboard areas long left on their own. So some unique ways of working have been challenging to solve with the system as customization is not possible as some ancient 'on premise' solutions used to offer. However, we still feel Cornerstone OnDemand is the best tool on the market for us.

The navigation and user experience are not modern or easy to use out of the box. It requires a significant investment with partner firms to configure the UX.
Certain modules (i.e. certifications) remain in an old UI that does not match the user experience on other parts of the platform.

In my opinion, technical support from Cornerstone OnDemand has been what is expected from a software company, but not good enough for what is required in supporting training customers in regulated industries. We continue to work with Cornerstone OnDemand to address these shortcomings and they are committed to finding a way to meet our demands.

Cornerstone OnDemand is a great LMS and can handle just about anything you can throw at it. It's powerful, comprehensive, and easy to use. They still have ground to make up though on some of their other modules and in their customer care center. I would point out analytics, API extensibility, and Global Client Support as areas of improvement. I use and support the learning portion of the product. It's great for getting training into the right hands at the right time.

I have used the learning performance of Cornerstone OnDemand for 6 years and find that it is a great support in managing compliance learning. The ability to create complex group and assignment criteria is really beneficial for the organizations I have worked in. Cornerstone consistently update their offering and has a space for clients to offer suggestions for improvements (these are sometimes acted on but sometimes a bit slow). I have recently started to use the performance module, which interlinks in many ways with the learning module. We have found it beneficial for a learners development journey to use these modules together. The ease of adding topics and skills in the user profile to customize learning on the home page has also worked well and means learners are shown learning opportunities that suit their needs.

Cornerstone OnDemand has been suited to all our learning needs. The use of playlists and the ability to add in external links, etc. has made it great for less formal learning and easier to give the business access to manage and create their own learning playlists without needing admin training. Whereas curriculums and learning assignments still allow us to support with compliance and more formal learning. A downfall is the content anytime can be very American and does not always transfer well.
