Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand

We use Cornerstone OnDemand to track and manage training, performance, and succession within our organization.

Pros

  • Training transcript tracking
  • Training Collection and individual training management
  • Performance review completion as an end user

Cons

  • Performance analytics is lacking
  • API Extensibility
  • It allows us to quickly deploy training to meet our compliance needs within our complex organization and allows us to track completion towards those needs.
  • It allows us to manage, track performance as a company, and participate in my performance process as an employee.
  • It allows us to use prebuilt APIs, although I think we need more, to get and put data into our platform in a timely manner.
It's been years since I've worked with another product. I don't really have a great answer for how it stacks up anymore, and Cornerstone OnDemand has acquired some of the bigger players in the same LMS sphere in Saba and SumTotal. However, they have positioned themselves as the premier player in the LMS space and growing in others.

Yes

Cornerstone OnDemand is a great LMS and can handle just about anything you can throw at it. It's powerful, comprehensive, and easy to use. They still have ground to make up though on some of their other modules and in their customer care center. I would point out analytics, API extensibility, and Global Client Support as areas of improvement. I use and support the learning portion of the product. It's great for getting training into the right hands at the right time.
