Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Freshsales as our CRM and contact management software. Our sales team uses it to track leads, create deals and manage our entire sales pipeline in general. Our Management team uses it to track activity and set up weekly reports. We also like that it integrates with most of our existing Tech stack and is quite customisable.

Pros

  • Great integrations. Its very seamless and easy to set up your integrations. It also integrates with pretty much anything you might want to connect it to.
  • Really easy to use. Our team doesnt need a detailed training set up for new users to start using it.
  • It also has great resources for self learning and a pretty solid support team.
  • Pretty customizable, worked well for our use case with minimal tweaking.

Cons

  • While we like the way we have set up reporting, I think that is one area where it could see significant improvement.
  • Initial set up a was a little rocky and it took a few tries till we had our pipeline and workflows nailed down.

Likelihood to Recommend

Generally speaking for small to mid sized team I really cannot recommend it enough. It has an excellent feature set, good amount of integrations, fairly customisable and backed by solid support. And the pricing is very competitive too. I feel like if your team is larger than that, you might want to look at other alternatives but for teams that size, its really perfect.

We use Freshworks CRM in our business to organize and categorize clients, keep track of new leads, deals and sales progress. We use this product daily to set remainders for following up, email messages, to get an overview of our current proposals and potential sales. This program addresses organization problems.

Freshworks CRM is well suited for businesses where new leads are generated often and there is a longer sales process that needs to be organized. Deals are organized clearly and task reminders are helpful to keep track of follow ups and different stages for each client/ lead. Freshworks CRM may not be well suited for scenarios where the sales process is happening instantly.

Manage your Business using Freshworks CRM!

I've tried various other CRM's and Freshworks CRM looks and feels energetic and easy to use. You can easily configure workflows and automation, set up sequences for your email campaign. Some tools (That I have used in the past require a separate application that has to integrate with my CRM to perform this action.) We, at our organization, use it to build pipelines and maintain customer/prospect information.

  • calendar sync
  • Deal module to easily navigate

Cons

  • The interface itself can be made easier for some people especially who are not tech-savy
  • After importing, you could make the errored file viewable in the interface itself instead of an email
  • Had to reach support to know where to upload files related to a contact the first time

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have used a couple of CRM's in the past, then Freshworks CRM would be a piece of cake for you. No worries if you are a beginner, you will always be assigned a technical support representative, who can guide you and show you how things work and you can set it up yourself. It is well suited for any company that primarily handles customer information and best suited for sales management.

I use Freshworks CRM as a CRM and Sales Engagement platform. Love having sales sequences integrated with the standard CRM system. It's user-friendly, easy to set up and has all my lead information in one place, including communications.

Pros

  • Sales sequencing.
  • Customizable forms and data input.

Cons

  • I'd like the system to auto detect spacing after integers, so that when they are incorporated into a sales sequence, there's not an odd space after the placeholders.

Likelihood to Recommend

I've used it to create email marketing campaigns with the sales sequencing, and set it and forget it. I love how I've been able to get new interested leads after 4-5 emails without having to constantly check in with the prospect.

FreshSales is a great alternative to Salesforce for smaller organizations !

We brought on [Freshworks CRM (formerly Freshsales)] as a replacement for Salesforce. We needed a way to track leads through the sales cycle and provide reports to our executives. [Freshworks CRM] allows us to manage leads, contacts, accounts, and deals. We also use it for sales campaigns as needed. This is being used only by our Sales department but as our Support team uses FreshDesk, we can see any Support tickets that have been raised by our customers in the platform as well which is helpful.

  • Sharing reports and dashboards with others

Cons

  • Leads and Contacts do not seem to be adequately defined.
  • Reporting is not as robust as we would like it to be
  • Integration with FreshDesk is one way - we can see information from FreshDesk to FreshSales but not vice versa

Likelihood to Recommend

If you are a smaller organization you are probably ok to use [Freshworks CRM (formerly Freshsales)] vs SalesForce - you will save money and still get some great features. I would not recommend for a very large enterprise. It is also challenging to have the support come from another region although they do try to be very responsive.

We currently use it for a couple of client projects. We implemented Freshworks CRM [(formerly Freshsales)] for a retail company. We used Zapier to integrate with Freshworks CRM [(formerly Freshsales)]. Whenever a customer purchase something the customers info would then forward over to Freshworks CRM [(formerly Freshsales)]. We could then use Freshworks CRM [(formerly Freshsales)] to send targeted email campaigns.

Pros

  • Support is awesome
  • Very simple interface
  • Quick setup

Cons

  • I have not found any areas I do not like

[Freshworks CRM (formerly Freshsales)] is great for small to very large enterprises. I am sure it might have a few cons but I have yet to find any flaws in Freshworks CRM [(formerly Freshsales).]

We are using Freshsales for our sales department and for client management through projects at my <a rel="nofollow,noopener" target="_blank" href="https://allmywebneeds.com/">web design company in Nashville</a>. It allows us to automate communication so we can send personalized messages to get people to set up calls. Then we have integrations with other apps to move leads and existing customers through a pipeline so it only sends them the relevant notifications and follows up when appropriate.

Pros

  • It helps you automate your onboarding process for new leads.
  • It has lots of integrations with other apps, so you can interact with other things like calendars and calls.
  • It's pretty easy to set sequences so the platform automatically follows up with people for you. This is not only helpful for your sales pipeline, but also for client communication when working on a project that requires their input.

Cons

  • Their tech support is pretty bad. I think I get a helpful answer maybe 20-30% of the time. I wish they would actually think about the problem and try to find a solution instead of sending a scripted or another completely unhelpful answer.

Likelihood to Recommend

Freshsales is pretty much perfect if you are a small organization with just a few users but need robust communication capability.

Freshsales allowed us to effectively move our CRM to the cloud at a very reasonable price.

Freshsales is being used to manage our sales pipeline and act as a CRM for other parts of the business. It allowed us to go to a cloud-based solution that was also much simpler to use and maintain than Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Needs direct O365 integration.
  • Needs easier recurrence tasks.
