Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I used GetTerms to quickly generate a privacy policy for the websites by agency was building.
Pros
  • Simple setup - Less than 2 minutes
  • Great support
  • Compliant with all global privacy laws I needed the sites comply with (GDPR, CCPA, CalOPPA, and PIPEDA)
  • Included cookie banner with the paid version
  • Free privacy policy generator for simpler needs
Cons
  • I want them to add other policies, but I believe these are in the pipeline!
Likelihood to Recommend
If you can't afford a lawyer to write you a privacy policy for your website or app, or if you just need something quick that covers all the bases, just use GetTerms, there isn't any reason to venture outside of this product. It's simple, easy to use and won't let you down in my experience.
