Excellent Customer Support: Many reviewers have expressed their satisfaction with the excellent customer support provided by Giftbit. They have shared positive experiences of receiving prompt assistance from the support team when encountering issues or needing help. The responsiveness of the support team, as demonstrated by fixing specific issues within 24 hours, signifies that Giftbit prioritizes providing helpful and timely support to its customers.
Fair Pricing: A number of users have commended Giftbit for its fair pricing structure. I use Giftbit to offer an incentive to potential customers to meet with me to discuss a specific product. My customers are doctors who own their own practices so getting time with them can be challenging. The gift card helps make getting the appointment easier. I was able to book about 70 appointments over a 3-month period, in part because of the gift card.
Pros
The platform is very easy to use. I can order and send a gift card in about a minute.
The support is excellent. The only trouble I had involved getting my logo to display properly in the email sent from Giftbit. Their support team was responsive and had my issue fixed within 24 hours.
The pricing is very fair, especially given how easy the product is.
Cons
I found the whole process of setting up the templates cumbersome. That said, once it was done (and I had good help from support), everything was seamless.
It's not as easy as I'd like it to be to see who I sent gift cards to recently. The "Orders" dashboard doesn't show the recipient's name, email address, or whether they've opened/redeemed their gift card. You have to click on each record to get that info, or you have to search for a specific customer. I'd like to be able to scan the dashboard and know who's done what at the bird's eye level.

It's been great to incentivize appointments. I can also see that it would be a good tool to send gifts to existing customers.
We used Giftbit to send incentives in bulk. It saved us substantial time and saved us money since we were able to avoid individual service fees for each gift card. We were also able to customize incentives by allowing the person we sent it to choose their desired gift card.
Pros
Send bulk gift cards
Save time by saving contact lists and email templates
Cons
I didn't love having to buy credits in advance, but since Giftbit recommended how many we'd need to buy, it wasn't terrible.

It is great for sending bulk incentive gift cards or bulk company gifts to employees or clients. You are able to send one-off gift cards, but you won't be using Giftbit to its potential.
Our growing business was looking at a quick and efficient way to deliver end-of-year thank you gifts in the form of gift cards to a specific product and marketing team, in addition to our normal company-wide gifts. We wanted them sent alongside a personal email written by their superiors, so they all felt individually appreciated. Giftbit allowed us to send gift card links separately and could customize the messaging and branding, so it felt like our company's. For other teams, we utilized their mass template, where you can choose variable data to insert into a larger template and send out as a branded gift card. The response was positive, and everyone said they were very easy to use. The only frustrating part was accidentally sending a few with expiration dates that were less than two months away, so we had to adjust, so they expired a year later. What's really nice is that you can see who has opened their links, who has viewed their links, etc.
Pros
Sending mass brand-templated gift cards
Choosing which type of gift card you want (e.g. Starbucks, Amazon)
Showing metrics for gift cards
Cons
The process of buying credits to then load into gift cards was a little confusing
Would be nice to have an overview of all metrics in one place, like seeing all gift cards opened or unopened instead of only showing in the batches they were sent

Giftbit will work well for teams of 10 or more, and I can see it scaling to an infinite amount. If you put in the work on the front end, you can really customize the experience of the recipient. The only struggle is that if you have a large amount going out, you need to make sure you have all emails or a place to give out all the unique gift card links. We ran into an issue where some overseas employees couldn't use specific gift cards, but we had already pre-loaded our budgeted amount in credits on the platform.
Easy way to send out gift cards as appreciation gifts to a large number of employees (over 50) as a thank you. Also used for sending foodservice vouchers given we are all working remotely and have meetings scheduled over mealtime. This enables folks to order food for themselves during our virtual meetings
Pros
scheduling sending of giftcards in bulk
variety of gift card options
customized messages and denomination of gift card value
Cons
Easier way to load a large number of recipients
not having my $$ expire if I don't use them in a timely manner
Likelihood to Recommend
It is a huge time saver if I need to distribute over 150 gift cards to employees in our department at one time vs manually entering each person's email address. The ability to track who has spent their gift card also helps so that I can follow up with them to remind them they have a balance available. The amount that does not get redeemed after a certain period of time, is not lost or wasted and can be used for another group's gifting.

Cons

Cancelling gifts

Giftbit is well suited for simple, domestic, gifting. It has the ability to create and share templates, manage multiple users under the account, distribute funds, and preview your incentives. You can also share via link or email, which is great. Where we ran into a roadblock was the ability to send gifts internationally. Other than that, it's a great platform, easy to use, and customer support is quick to respond!
Sending gift cards to our customers used to be a total headache. I'd keep a manual list of customers we wanted to send them to, then work with a virtual assistant to manually order them via a third-party vendor. Giftbit saved us hours upon hours of time, thanks to its integration with Zapier. I created a Zap that allows tagging a customer in our CRM and like magic they'd get a gift card in their inbox. It didn't take me more than a few minutes to set up.
Pros
Easy integration with Zapier
Professional, not-scammy looking emails
Affordable
Cons
I don't believe the gift cards work internationally, but I may be wrong

If you send gift cards to your customers at set points during their customer experience, it's a no-brainer to use Giftbit to automate the process. Their API is great, but the dashboard is easy to use if you need to send a one-off reward to a user or vendor.
I used Giftbit, as the chair of our staff morale committee, to send gift cards to staff during the pandemic when we couldn't gather together as a group. Normally, we provide meals to staff throughout the year and because of COVID, we had to get creative with how to boost morale and show appreciation for our employees this past year and a half. We sent gift cards to staff using Giftbit on three or four occasions so far, and it was an easy way to send out a lot of gift cards at a time and the staff loved being able to choose their own restaurant or store.
Pros
It's super easy to buy and send the gift cards. I used the links and they were sent to me right away in an Excel sheet.
There was a good variety of gift cards to choose from to offer to our staff.
User-friendly interface for our staff to use (even the not-so-technologically-savvy!
Cons
I would love to be able to customize the actual gift more by being able to add more graphics, change fonts, etc.
As a nonprofit organization, we can't really afford to lose so much money by people not claiming gift cards, which is why we chose to buy links. Using the links is very time consuming to send out.
Likelihood to Recommend
Giftbit is great to send many gifts at one time. I had a hard time finding anything similar when wanting to reward staff who are all very different as far as personality types, pay grades, lifestyles, etc. Giftbit really had something for everyone and it's easy to send many out at one time if you a lot of staff.
We are using it for fulfillment on a project by project basis.
Pros
Simple interface
Low cost of entry
Easy for one off campaigns
Cons
The credits system is a bit complex
Likelihood to Recommend
It's really great if you're doing something like a survey, and want to be able to send out incentives. Especially if you don't do a lot of surveys over the year, and don't need a more complicated system. We were able to link it up with our survey, and have the choice to automatically send them out, or do it manually daily.
We also found a great for small focus group fulfillment, because it can be hard to find a way to do small batches, and this is the perfect system for it.
We used Giftbit at the [beginning] of COVID as an employee appreciation gift to our all our associates to thank them for all their handwork during the pandemic.
Pros
Easy to use
Excellent customer service
Several gift cards to pick from
Quick response times from Giftbit
Cons
Honestly I can't think of any improvements at this time

Since using Giftbit, I've recommended it to my network when they were looking for a digital way [to provide] gift cards.
GiftBit is used by our org as the digital incentives program connected to a consumer panel run on the Fuel Cycle community platform. Its intent is to be a hands-off rewards mall provider for users on the platform when they want to redeem points for digital rewards. It is used primarily by API but its also used a lot manually (by me) for distribution of incentives to panelists directly when the API (or the Fuel Cycle community platform) fails to redeem or process a reward properly.
Pros
It has a nice email builder for sending messages along with an incentive code to a person.
It segregates my USD balance from my CAN balance at the dashboard level so I can monitor both.
Cons
The reporting is VERY basic.
Templates should be easier to create and re-use.
Likelihood to Recommend
Giftbit is suited for straightforward and repeatable incentives (to tech-savvy users familiar with digital rewards redemptions) and less suited for flexible ad-hoc rewards distributions. Also less suited for API integration with the Fuel Cycle community platform as it causes more problems than it solves. Having moved my panel to the FocusVision Kinesis community platform, I have had ZERO issues with their API integration with Tango Card.
