Overall Satisfaction with Giftbit
Our growing business was looking at a quick and efficient way to deliver end-of-year thank you gifts in the form of gift cards to a specific product and marketing team, in addition to our normal company-wide gifts. We wanted them sent alongside a personal email written by their superiors, so they all felt individually appreciated. Giftbit allowed us to send gift card links separately and could customize the messaging and branding, so it felt like our company's.
For other teams, we utilized their mass template, where you can choose variable data to insert into a larger template and send out as a branded gift card.
The response was positive, and everyone said they were very easy to use. The only frustrating part was accidentally sending a few with expiration dates that were less than two months away, so we had to adjust, so they expired a year later. What's really nice is that you can see who has opened their links, who has viewed their links, etc.

Pros
- Sending mass brand-templated gift cards
- Choosing which type of gift card you want (e.g. Starbucks, Amazon)
- Showing metrics for gift cards
Cons
- The process of buying credits to then load into gift cards was a little confusing
- Would be nice to have an overview of all metrics in one place, like seeing all gift cards opened or unopened instead of only showing in the batches they were sent
- Mass sending
- Brand customization
- Choice of card (e.g. Amazon, Starbucks)
- A majority of recipients used their gift cards
We chose Giftbit because of its ability to electronically send gift cards, no fees on the recipient side, brand customization, and overall user experience of the site. Other sites we found had high fees to create gift cards, would only allow physical cards, or didn't have an easy way to automatically send large amounts of cards.
