  • Data has been quite reliable
  • usability of site is very easy
  • team has been very responsive when there are needs

Cons

  • we would love if we could drill down in more detail into security related spend and install data. Seems like there is good potential of this with the new TrustRadius relationship

Return on Investment

  • it is hard to quantify currently, but word on the street among sales team is positive
  • we are trying to tag new leads with a field indicating they are HG, but it is in process

The HG Insights Platform is helpful in researching leads and data enrichment for the accounts in our database. It has a unique feature that allows you to see the software stack for each company they have a profile on and follow softwares tagged with similar categories to your product. I also find it easy to use and integrate with our CRM.

I am an ISV Specialist at Google and the HG Insights Platform has enabled me to dive into deeper insights with my ISVs while simultaneously helping me generate more valuable leads for my ISVs and for Google. On top of that, it has helped me save a lot of time in my day-to-day so that I can focus more on my ISVs and my actual responsibilities.

I think the HG Insights Platform is a great platform that we use to leverage information mainly around research of IT stack behind various companies. It allows us to identify which incumbent solutions they may already use that may require a modern stack upgrade or consolidation.

  • Easy way to use filters to drill down into particular geography etc.
  • Ability to cross reference multiple data sets
  • Great vizualisation tools to make information easier to digest

Cons

  • It would be great to see more AI supported personalization and recommendations
  • More frequent data refresh
  • More APIs so it can custom fit different applications
