The company itself appears to be committed to educating users on various law updates that affect background check reporting; they offer frequent communications as well as opportunities to attend learning webinars. The communications also come from various members of their leadership team.
We use HireRight to perform background checks on new hires, and we have also used them to conduct both pre-employment drug screens as well as random drug screens for folks who are not able to come to their work location for whatever reason. This product allows for a quick and efficient process of performing these tasks with just a few quick steps.

We are required to use HireRight by the client that we work at as a pre-access item for our employees to be background checked in order for them to get onsite. The reasoning for this is so that our client can assure that all employees have been checked for violent criminal history that could endanger their products or consumers.

HireRight's background checking has some improvements and could hold some more historical data more than 150 days. We have had employees move from one jobsite to the other for this client and we can't look up if they have had a background check done through HireRight before if it is more than 150 days, so we end up ordering another one and duplicate/pay for extra background checks.

HireRight is well suited when you have many potential candidates at the same time and need to keep a database of all of the candidates so that you can ensure the status of all of their potential employment is updates. It may be less appropriate when there are only 1-2 potential candidates in the pipeline.
It is always important to have a background checkable platform. I love that it's easy to use, employee registration is easy, all you need is the name and email address, select the service and send it. It works well for US-based employees who have never lived or studied in any other country.

Sometimes the drug testing results came off however its a minor bug that can be improved with update.

The best thing about this is partnered with HR services and integrations with other tools that make it easy to keep records and set up. However, its UI is outdated, they can update it to improve performance and user friendly.
HireRight is a partner in our industry that keeps us in compliance with our state and government projects we work on. HireRight performs all pre-employment and random drug free screenings and background checks that assists us in having the right employees for the projects we work on. We have found that HireRight meets all our know needs. Obviously, there are situations where we do not know what we do not know, but in our industry, they assist us in meeting our government compliance. Without this compliance, we are unable to work on projects that are aligned with the government agencies.

We are using Hireright only for State of Ohio Contract hiring. whenever we can get an offer we need to initiate the BGC through Hireright and it will sent a link to consultant to fill the requested details. once BGC is done we will get an email from Hireright about it completion with either meets or review required and we will accept in the vectorvms. The result will be not integrated with Vectorvms like infocubic we used for Other accounts we have
HireRight makes us easy for us to collect the data that we need from prospective new hires, from an HR perspective it does a lot of the HR elements for us. It notifies us as potential candidates upload their personal information, it also allows us to quickly verify their background with the different collection data agencies, we actually have a virtual of the software that allows HireRight to automatically check online resources versus the data that the candidate has sent us that has sped up our hiring processes by over 30% percent.

Because we hire a lot of contract based employees we need a system that could quickly do their background check because we have time sensitive projects that cost us money if we cannot delivery it on time, the speed in which this system does our background checks and provides us with errors is amazing, we've had background checks go through in minutes were before it would take weeks. There is room for improvement with the platform: the interface, not having a dedicated CRM when issues arise which means the default is either chat or a phone call with someone that is not familiar with your account. They do run many internal checks for companies that are global but completion times can vary drastically and take weeks.
