We use Indeed extensively for sourcing resumes and job postings. We use Indeed for job postings for a maximum of time, and sourcing using filters is an added advantage for us. Since we are a staffing agency, we always use these job boards for sourcing and job postings.

We use Indeed most of the time for job postings, where the flow of profiles inside the portal can be controlled. Profiles can be constrained based on the skills given in the job post. As a job board, it is the best way to source resumes with a filter process.

I used Indeed.com for sourcing and posting the job form the client or manager. I usually get the IT as well as Non-IT requirements. It is useful for me to source both IT and Non-IT requirements which is the only portal for both needs. Specifically for Non-IT, no other tools can perform well when compared to Indeed.com

I felt Indeed.com is the good platform for sourcing and positing where I had a real time experience. One day I got the Niche requirements from my manager where I couldn't get the resume in other portals but when I used Indeed.com, I got the submission and the candidate which I submitted got selected for the role. After this incident I started started using the Indeed.com regularly.

I'm using Indeed.com for Job positing and sourcing the profiles which helps me to source the relevant profiles in a quick time. Most of the other portals doesn't meet my expectation for sourcing the Non-IT requirements where Indeed.com plays the key role here. We have closed several positions by using the Indeed.com postings.

While working in my previous organization, my team and I usually get the Non-IT requirements where we couldn't able to fetch the profiles in other job portals. Then I got the recommendation from one of my friend to use the Indeed.com portal, after this we got the plenty of resume for the submissions and it helps to perform me well.

We use Indeed.com to recruit for IT Client openings such as developers, managers, etc. We use the candidates search tools and post all our openings.

Well suited for searching the database for qualified resources, not well suited for those posting jobs. That is especially true if the job posted has a broader appeal, or applies to many job seekers, since it will attract hundreds that you will not have time to review. We have found that 1 in 20 are even qualified and have the basic requirements for what we post.

I posted a job on Indeed.com for a cook. Out of the roughly 10 applicants, only one showed up for an interview. His application was not accurate, and in my opinion, he obviously just finished smoking weed before coming for his interview. I was not able to find a quality candidate and received a bill for over $255.

There is no number for assistance on the app or site. In my opinion, the candidates are of poor quality, and I was billed but did not receive one quality candidate.

We use Indeed.com for recruiting for our company. We are a small company and do not have a budget for recruiting nor a recruiter to assistance when position come up. Managers across the company use it as well as HR when trying to fill a position for any department when one becomes open.

Great if you have no money for recruiting and need to get a large amount of resumes. You need to have time to sort through the large bunch of resumes you are going to get usually half are not relevant even if you use questions to filter out the ones you don't think will qualify.

Indeed is an invaluable recruiting tool for us. It is the only platform we have that we do not have to pay for. We have 35 sites nationwide and each one has an Indeed account.

Indeed is very cost-efficient, (free) and provides a large candidate pool for us. They do often flag jobs or pause them while we are still hiring. That is the main thing that does not work for us.

I am a franchisee for Aussie Pet Mobile. Corporate has an account that its franchisees can use and some of us (not sure how many), have purchased services to search the resume database. Personally, I am starting up and am looking for initial team members with the appropriate professional, life, and interpersonal skills. I have been using Indeed for about a month and have had several potential hires during a very competitive hiring market. I don't think that I could have solicited as many in the same amount of time on my own.

A Zoom call was scheduled with our contact, Kristina Bodley, and Ayanis Lindo, expert customer care on the entire application. This was of great help and I was able get more value.

Our organization set up a Company Profile on Indeed.com to give our company better visibility to prospective job applicants. We worked very hard to achieve a 5-star rating on the 'Reviews' section of our Company Profile, which has been listed for several years now. Recently, a completely separate organization created an additional Company Profile on Indeed.com and used the exact same name as our Company, but did not include any differentiating info (such as a logo, address, phone#, Tax ID#, etc). This other organization obtained two negative reviews on their profile. I brought this situation to the attention of several representatives at Indeed.com and asked them for assistance in differentiating our Profile (with a 5-star review average) from the other Profile of the same name (with a 1-star review average). Do you know what Indeed did next? They decided to MERGE the two profiles together, effectively forcing us to inherit 2 negative reviews that did not belong to us. I called and wrote Indeed several times to protest this egregious move and they flat out refuse to fix it even though they have acknowledged that the other Profile is/was not related to our Profile in any way, shape, or form. Now, they have irreparably tarnished our organization's online reputation by forcing our Review average to plummet, due to the addition of these invalid reviews. Employers, beware of doing business with this organization!
