Insperity One-Stop-Shop for HR and Benefits

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It let a small company like mine have HR, Payroll, Reporting, performance reviews all in one place. This platform also enabled our small business to get better tiered insurance that is usually only available to large corporations. It streamlined all of these operations, and also had reps from Insperity for support and questions.

Pros

  • Payroll
  • Benefits/ Insurance
  • Performance Review
  • Enablement

Cons

  • They're portal could be more intuitive
  • Have a mobile app thats easy to use
  • More benefit options

Return on Investment

  • Help me find employe directory with names, numbers, emails, org chart
  • I like they're benefits seemed on par with large corporations
  • Payroll can be managed by 1 person easily

In my opinion, Beware Insperity

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We had engaged Insperity to help with payroll and benefits administration.

Cons

  • Communicating policies and rules clearly.

Return on Investment

  • In my experience, they cost me a lot of money for no return
  • In my opinion, they use a crappy insurance provider with little to no actual benefits

Insperity makes the onboarding process better

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Insperity for pre-employment testing and promotional moves within the company to check skills for new or current employees who want to make a change.

Pros

  • System is easy to use
  • Have tools that can be sent to managers so that they can choose the testing that works best for their position.
  • Easy to deal with.

Cons

  • We honestly don't see anything that needs a change at this point.

Return on Investment

  • It has helped us avoid bad hires.

Maybe their POE works, but in my experience, their other models do not...

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We were promised an HR team, and we received a few phone numbers for team members who were nearly impossible to reach...

Our biggest complaint though is that, in my opinion, the user interface is very outdated and extremely difficult to use.

To be fair, we were not using the POE model that they offer but were using the self guided option.

In my opinion, the ease of use offered by basic industry names like Gusto and OnPay far outweighs any benefits you receive from using Insperity Workforce Optimization.

Pros

  • Onboarding Processes

Cons

  • In my opinion, user Interface is terrible
  • In my experience, HR "Team" very rarely answers the phone numbers that you are given
  • I think it is very expensive for what is offered

Most Important Features

  • Payroll

Return on Investment

  • Made the Payroll process more difficult than cheaper options
