Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Synthesio for the brand's needs. It was mostly when it became compulsory for the brand to have a strong social media impact and presence. Social media monitoring is getting really important for brands who focus on consumers & their complaints. We were looking for a tool that can help us resolve this issue.

Cons

  • It really works well. It provides an overall marketing solution like other tools in the market.
  • Cost should be a little bit decreased as it is a big pain point for brand managers to go with a tool with high costs.
  • Synthesio has a lot of potentials but the sales reps were not good at selling it. I think it only happened to me, maybe others may have not faced this problem.

It's a very good tool. It covers every need we have for social media listening & monitoring. Bad thing is that those who were selling us the software were not much concerned about costs and were not reducing although there are a lot of market leaders like sprinklr who are really good with compensation & value addition

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used by the digital marketing department to monitor what is being said about the bank so we can either respond or simply be aware of our reputation. We also monitor our competitors to be aware of our standing from a consumer standpoint in the industry of financial services.

  • Pulling in mentions from multiple sites and platforms.
  • Filter setup for multiple topics and keywords.

Cons

  • I’d love better graphics when I pull reports.
  • The sentiment data is still inaccurate.
  • We are unable to weed out all mentions of the arena associated with the bank.

Likelihood to Recommend

Synthesio is one of the best social listening tools I’ve worked with. It has the ability to set up numerous filters depending on what you want to report on, and then to dive deep into that data. If you’re monitoring your brand or company, your competition, or trending topics, you’ll have an easy go of it with this tool.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Synthesio is mostly used by the Corporate Communications department to do crisis listening over social media. However, we are expanding to other departments as they see the value.

Pros

  • Synthesio has an unlimited volume, which helps us to not worry about going over budget. This helps us focus on refining our search to pull in the mentions that have the most value.
  • Synthesio has an excellent support team. They are always available to answer any questions we have.

Cons

  • The dashboards are just ok. I think there could be a lot of improvement on the visual look of the dashboards. That being said, if you're just into the data. It works great.

Likelihood to Recommend

Synthesio works well in delivering analytics. Logging in and viewing data is easy. When reporting to upper management, the tool is not the best. I think it could have real-time updates to displays. We are solving this by paying for the API access and exporting to our own dashboard solution.c

We use Synthesio to track the negative and positive sentiments about the company. It's used by the marketing team globally. It helps us track what customers are saying. It helps us to track media coverage of our company globally and address the issues. It helps us in getting the ideas for building our brand globally and to be aware. It also helps in increasing our knowledge about competitors and our clients' social activity. It is a very useful tool.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you wish to track daily news and your presence on different social media [platforms] in one place then I would recommend Synthesio. This tool is very easy to use and understand. You can track and take corrective action on the negative statements being made on different social channels in different regions.

Likelihood to Recommend

Be clear about what you want to track and why, Synthesio did a great job helping eliminate data that was not relevant to our needs, but we needed to be clear about that when we started. Work with the representative and ask that they too provide a report when using it for a large scale campaign or event.

  • Synthesio is great at timely feedback and is always there to answer any questions.
  • The data is pretty clean and not filled with a ton of spam.

Cons

  • If you're in a DIY dashboard, the amount of data can sometimes be an issue. Meaning, there's areonly so many conversations you can pull back.
