Very pricey and does not work as they say it will

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using it for about a year and a half. We have been just trying to get reports to load. They load slow, and when say slow meaning 10-15 minutes to load a report and many times they timeout and never load at all. Support thinks we should change the format and a few other things, so we did that, and it still does not work, so they offered to build them for us and still same issues. Sitting in meetings with a client and taking 10-15 minutes to get a basic report 1-page report to load or it will never load at all makes this $60,000 plus we gave them an actual waste of our time and money. We have over $60,000 and over 250 hours of our time to have a product that adds no value to our business. We moved back to our previous provider that does not have as many features, but more features are useless if they do not work.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Clean Interface

Cons

  • SUPER SLOW
  • Many times reports do not load
  • Support is not good
  • Very pricey for what it does

NinjaCat: In-depth and Thorough Product Supported by a Great Customer Service Team!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use NinjaCat to handle invoices, weekly reporting, data analysis, visualization, dashboards and more. NinjaCat is similar to excel in that it may not be the sleekest but there is no doubt that its customization can let you access almost any information you need. Countless times, NinjaCat has saved me hours by letting see data in Google Analytics that the platform makes nearly impossible to access.

Pros

  • Automated Report
  • Data Visualization
  • Customer Service
  • On-Boarding

Cons

  • Consistency with API Connections
  • Number of API Connections
  • Data Errors

NinjaCat has been great for getting clients quickly connected to popular advertising platforms like Snapchat, Facebook, and Google. It can blend data together easily to make overall data easy to access. The template designer is easy to use (though careful there is no auto save or undo button) and you can have a client ready report done easily with one of their premade templates or customize it for your needs.

The fact that I can build any metric or pull in about any information with the Google Sheet data feature makes the product far and away one of the best products I've had the pleasure of using.

Automated Client Reporting, and worth the cost

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a medium-sized Digital Marketing Agency with about 175 clients. We manage their Digital Marketing efforts, including pay per click in Google, Display Advertising on the GDN and Facebook Ads. With this many clients, we needed a platform that would streamline and automate our reporting process for these digital marketing initiatives. Clients need to see what they are spending their digital advertising dollars on, and what the results are. NinjaCat offered the best solution available at a very reasonable cost.

Pros

  • It automates Client Reporting for Digital Advertising -- it's time-consuming to set up, but once it is, you don't have to do very much after that.
  • Adding Data Sources to your reporting. NinjaCat integrates with most digital advertising platforms, in particular, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • It Manages Client Reporting in one place -- there's no need to send reports from different platforms and stitch the information together. NinjaCat pulls all the data and allows you to customize reports for your clients and send them concise data in an appealing format.

Cons

  • The training was a little rocky, but that should be expected when implementing a new platform with such a vast scope of data sources and reporting formats.
  • Communication with our designated rep was a little difficult. I realize that they were trying to manage their time, but sometimes I just needed a 2-minute phone call to get an answer, and that proved to be difficult.
  • Occasional reporting delays. If you schedule too many client reports on the same day and time, the system can get bottlenecked. We haven't had any recent backlogs, but in the beginning it was troublesome.

Likelihood to Recommend

NinjaCat is very good if you have a lot of clients in the same Industry doing similar advertising. You can set up templates and use them across multiple clients. All of our clients are in the same business and do digital advertising on the same platforms. It is time-consuming to set up the first set of reporting templates, so it could become cumbersome if you have different clients in different industries. That being said, the NinjaCat staff will do their best in assisting you with the onboarding and set up process.

NinjaCat helped the business

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

NinjaCat was brought in to streamline digital client reporting and reduce the amount of man hours devoted to manual spreadsheet work. It not only replaced that work but the data visualization improved the reporting by a few levels. Instead of straight spreadsheets, the reports would include graphical representations of the data. After improving the external reporting, the goal/plan was to also help with internal dashboarding. It's capable there too but far secondary as a goal.

Pros

  • The training process was fantastic. Really well done. Customized for our needs.
  • If good data comes in, NinjaCat does really well at spitting it back out the way the tool is expected to do.
  • Customer Service even after training is quick, caring and smart.

Cons

  • The tool does struggle with handling data from tools that aren't particularly clean.
  • Many of the tools are designed to help agencies, so publishers have to jump through a few hoops or ignore certain areas.
  • Portions of the tool don't work as expected but there are work-arounds in almost all situations.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is perfect for any company using digital media and reporting manually or through spreadsheets. This is a significant upgrade from that scenario. It is also fantastic when there are 5+ vendors in play. If the system is simple or reporting is already automated/advanced, it might not expand the offering enough to make the cost make sense.
