Aiming to streamline efficiency, Paycom is designed to leverage full solution automation to save time and avoid roadblocks. How has Paycom’s automated features affected your organization and workflows?

From 14 reviews | Last Published June 30, 2026

Paycom's automated features are significantly enhancing operational efficiency for construction firms, primarily by reducing the manual effort involved in critical HR and payroll processes. Construction companies, often managing dispersed workforces and dynamic project requirements, find particular value in systems that streamline time-sensitive administrative tasks. The platform's ability to automate complex payroll adjustments and open enrollment procedures directly addresses common pain points in the industry, where accurate and timely compensation is paramount for maintaining project schedules and labor satisfaction. This automation not only saves considerable administrative time, as noted by 5 of 14 reviewers, but also contributes to a more unified and transparent HR experience, crucial for compliance and employee engagement across various job sites. By improving workflows, Paycom supports the agile needs of construction operations, allowing HR and management to focus more on strategic workforce planning rather than repetitive data entry.

Time Savings

It's just saved me a lot of time, especially with the payroll piece of it where I know in a DP you have to go back, you have to unlock timecards and then go back and change 'em, lock it back up and go back into the payroll piece of it.

Workflow Improvement

Things move great with the workflows that we have set up in Paycom.

With its single database, Paycom aims to reduce errors and inefficiencies associated with multi-system integration for payroll and HR management software. How has Paycom’s single software solution differed from your previous HR and payroll management processes?

From 15 reviews | Last Published June 30, 2026

For construction firms, Paycom's single software solution has significantly streamlined HR and payroll processes, directly addressing the inefficiencies and potential for error inherent in managing a mobile workforce with diverse pay structures across multiple job sites. Reviewers frequently highlight how the unified platform eliminates the need for redundant data entry across disparate systems, a common pain point in an industry where accurate time tracking and compliance are critical. This consolidation into a "one stop shop" is particularly valued by 6 of 15 reviewers, who noted a marked improvement over previous fragmented HRIS and payroll setups. The integrated system helps construction companies maintain better control over employee data, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and performance, reducing administrative burden and allowing HR teams to focus on strategic tasks rather than data reconciliation.

Single System Integration

And that's why I didn't like ADP because we had a separate HRIS system, so it was double entry into the HRIS system and that's what I love about Paycom. There's not all that extra data entry and room for error.

Please provide some detailed examples of areas where Paycom has room for improvement.

From 16 reviews | Last Published June 30, 2026

For construction firms evaluating Paycom, the primary area for improvement highlighted by reviewers centers on the system's user interface and overall navigation. Given the diverse technical proficiency often found across field and office teams, an intuitive and streamlined experience is crucial for efficient time tracking, payroll processing, and HR management in a construction context. Issues with clunky navigation can lead to frustration and potential errors, impacting productivity, especially when data entry needs to be precise for project costing or compliance. While the sample size is small, these observations suggest that firms should thoroughly evaluate the system's usability during implementation, particularly for field personnel who may interact with the platform on mobile devices or in less structured environments.

User interface and navigation

TA is clunky. It is not intuitive and requires you to really know where to look for every specific part of the process, and requires you do it in the exact right order or you are basically forced to restart
