One-stop solution for "Customer Experience" and "Digital Transformation." It perfectly fits as a PIM / MDM / WCMS / CDM or DAM. Any company from mid size to enterprise Pimcore can help them to transform their business swiftly and provide agility to rapidly adopt the market dynamism. Pimcore kind of robust and sophisticated software rarely found in Open Source world which can match the quality and expectation of enterprise proprietary software like Adobe AEM.

Akeneo is just PIM and its doing PIM job properly but PimCore is much more than this.

A good Open Source PIM Tool
Pimcore is used for the delivery of key data points related to a product. It's an excellent product information management system used by some specific departments in my organization. The biggest reason why this was considered is that it's a free and open tool that is regularly updated and well supported by its core developers.

Our company likes Pimcore features and functionalities. The best thing about Pimcore is it's open source and anyone can download. Pimcore completely fulfill our needs, with the Pimcore we are able to manage a huge amount of product data with strong data import capabilities.
- It's a open source so anyone can download easily.
- Product features and functionalities is good.
- They are not charge any licence fee so you can access all features.
- For first time user, the panel are complicated.
- Implementation was not easy.
- Lack of frond end capabilities
