Well suited if you are starting out and can setup your processes from scratch and if all of your users are on-site or can remote in to your desktop.

If you have a long history which would have to be recreated it would be time consuming to do so. Lack of cloud based access limits who can access the software and when.

We use QuickBooks for all of our accounting functions. It is user friendly; goes anywhere we go and has a tremendous capability for customization. I use the import functions, and this saves a lot of time when bringing in data from other applications. Even though there is a lot that can be done it is also easy to start using with not too much training.

It is well suited for multiple users in different locations. Easy to use. Easy to customize. Backups are easy to create and send to accountant. Many people have experience using QuickBooks.

QuickBooks enables us to create orders, purchase inventory, pay employees, and pay bills to our vendors seamlessly. Without QuickBooks, we would need multiple tools to accomplish the same tasks that QuickBooks offers in one program. We appreciate being able to run QuickBooks on a local server, which allows us to maintain control over our data and avoid cloud storage.

We have spent many years searching for alternative software to complement or replace QuickBooks, but have yet to find a product capable of handling the tasks QuickBooks performs.

I process payroll weekly. I pay bills weekly. It allows for quick and easy accounts receivable. The taxes are figured for you as well as sales tax. This all is a time savor and have never known of it to be incorrect. It is very user friendly. I run monthly reports each month and it is easy to follow, and I like the drill down feature.

QuickBooks makes payroll fairly easy. The taxes are figured for you. The quarterly payroll reports are accurate and easy to process. Paying bills is easy to do. Posting payments to customers accounts is easy. Figuring monthly sales tax is easy and is so helpful.

We use QuickBooks Enterprise to manage inventory, sales orders, and purchases. It's also used to keep track of employee time and income that we receive. We have multiple locations that each have their own purchases and inventory. QuickBooks is used to monitor inventory at each location and keep track of all expenses and income in real time.

QuickBooks Enterprise is great for managing our inventory, purchases and income as we receive it. We use it to help budget and plan our monthly purchases, as well as keep each location on track when it comes to their expenses. It's also used for payroll and timekeeping at each store.

I upgraded to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise due to the growth of my business. I needed to add multiple users that could access the system simultaneously, but not necessarily grant full access to each user, so the customizable user interface worked perfectly for that. Also wanted to do cloud hosting so that I could eliminate managing my own server and also allow my accountants to access the system remotely without having to take them a company file. This environment created a closer working relationship and improved our efficiency greatly. I would also go as far to say that this product actually taught me more about business and accounting. I would recommend QB Desktop Enterprise to any growing business.

Running a service business, it is important to make sure you have timely invoicing. It is so easy to set up new customers, and then create an invoice as simple or as complex as you need. Being able to offer multiple payment methods and then being able to track outstanding invoices and collect payments all are a breeze. It helps to streamline your business without maintaining multiple software or systems.

Our organization produces quite a bit of invoices on a daily basis before QuickBooks it was hard to track all of these, but with QuickBooks enterprise features it gave us a whole host of reports and other intuitive features that greatly assisted in not only streamlining our invoice processing but also greatly increased the overall productivity of the accounts department.

QuickBooks is very well suited for small and medium enterprises with relatively complex parts with multiple users as it's multi-user function and interactivity is unmatched, It is less appropriate for smaller companies with simple transactions it may not be as effective as the price may not be worth the functionality trade off

Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise runs our entire manufacturing business. There are modules that we are just starting to incorporate as it took a little to get the non-users to understand what we already pay for and are not using.

One of the constant issues we would have pertains to billing. Invoices were getting mixed up or just coming out completely wrong at times. Being in the construction industry, we are responsible for specific areas on a jobsite. So, if our material/inventory get damaged, whether our fault or another trade, this newest version of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise that our company purchased has been able to smooth out discrepancies with inventory. This version has helped with tracking invoices for material damaged by other trades. Overall, a better handle for the business.

Fo the construction industry, and more specifically in the glass portion of construction, being able to find old orders by filtering job names, dates and manufacturers, has been the best simplification for our inventory system. If we need to go back and fix a job or replace anything, locating old Purchase Orders has never been easier for me.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has been our Accounting software for the last 5 years aand has provided us the flexibility and depth of data that we need. The software aligns with other QB Desktop products so ease of use is excellent. Built-in reports are highly customizable and vendor reporting is a huge plus. We make the most of the customer summaries and rely greatly. The flexible reporting does make the end of month close much easier to tie out. If I have one complaint, it's that there are some funny hiccups in reporting across multiple years (except not when reporting on "All" years.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is a great all around product that fits all businesses and user levels. We've used it starting as a smaller firm but it has allowed us to grow without having to make significant changes to software.
