We backup vmware, nutanix, sql, oracle, linux, ibm aix, windows, gcp and some NAS. We also like the NAS CD addon product of Rubrik we start using it soon

Use Cases and Deployment Scope We utilize Rubrik to back up all of our M365 mailboxes and our data servers, aiding in data loss prevention and ensuring the retention of sensitive information to meet legal compliance. A key business problem Rubrik addresses is the ability to recover deleted data, such as when an employee leaves the company and removes their files. With Rubrik, we can restore any deleted data from backups.
It is also used to validate date from a cyber security perspective.

The ability to restore data has been fantastic and the process is so simple

Rubrik is used for our backup strategy, enabling DR, and also helps with our ransomware protection. We love how it is a suite that consolidates work to less panes of glass.

Rubrik is ideal for VMware environments. Not so much for others environments.

We use Rubrik seclusively for our 365 backups. We need an archive of current and formal users for OneDrive, Email and SharePoint/Teams.

We have a fairly small technical staff, so ease of deployment, use and maintenance are critical. I receive daily emails with backup status that takes me a minute a day to review.

My organization switched from Quest Rapid Recovery to Rubrik for data protection for onsite and offsite storage 3 years ago. The main reason for switching was we needed a next generation backup and recovery product that can backup and recover data fast with convenience. Rubrik has exceeded our expectations.

Rubrik is a top product at current time for data protection at file, db, system level. It supports quick recovery and site to site replication.

We use Rubrik to backup all of our M365 mailboxes to help with data loss prevention and to retain sensitive data to meet any legal requirements. Business problems would be if someone who was leaving the company deleted their data, we would be able to retrieve from backup the data they deleted.

Rubrik is well suited for quick backup and restore. We had an experience where we thought a user deleted all of their email before they left and we decided that it was good to implement a backup solution like Rubrik where we can ensure this does not happen. It is also nice to be able to create different policies for more frequent backups for the leadership team.

We use Rubrik as our backup solution. The ease of the use and knowing that Rubrik is a solid company gives us great peace of mind about the safety and reliability of our data. It is easily configurable and the immutability of the data gives us a solid handle of our data.

It is great for backing up and storing data. With a less expensive platform they would attract more smaller companies.

We are using Rubrik products for about 5 years now to backup our critical assets. We are highly virtualized and mostly backup VMs. We first implemented Rubrik CDM completely on-premise and switched to Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC) in 2023.

Backup data is still on-premise, but due to the metadata being analyzed by RSC, this enables us to fully scan our backups for viruses, worms and ransomware without affecting the performance of the production systems.

RSC also learns what is a normal behaviour of a server (in terms of how many files change, are added, deleted, etc.) and informs the user on malicious behaviour. Additionally the user is able to define his own rules (e.g. YARA rules, hashes, regex) to hunt for specific threats.Sensitive, unencrypted data can also be automatically discovered (like customer or payment data). Also customizable by the user.

Besides VMs, Rubrik can backup nearly every critical asset, like physical servers, databases, network shares, cloud ressources and lots more.

Though Rubrik offers a lot of features implemetation and administration is an easy task. UIs are intuitive and there are many assistants guiding the user through the tasks.

Due to the intuitive UI, I was able to teach other colleagues how to use RSC in no time and keeping it up-to-date is also very convenient.

Rubrik is clearly made for protecting enterprises at ease. I never used a backup product before, that is so intuitive and demands such less administration. It just works! It is really feature rich and innovative. The only downside could be pricing, so it may not be suitable for small companies. Pricing is mostly dependent on the amount of data to protect.

Rubrik is used to protect all of our critical data on-prem and in the cloud. The platform gives us confidence in our data protection and recoverability. We are a long term customer an have found the platform to be reliable and intuitive. The product ticks all of our boxes for data protection and Rubrik are continually improving the product.

The product ease of use and has comprehensive data protection from a range of sources and top notch support teams. Integration with things like Oracle and SQL databases is great, and has the ability to restore, clone or export to any point in time of the SLA. Also, being able to archive backup data to the cloud, with specific retention periods is a nice feature.

Helping us ensure backups are complete, reliable and on-time, we're also secure in the knowledge that our workloads are backed up in multiple locations, both on and off prem.

We use Rubrik to ensure continuity of backups, the vulnerability scanning, threat detection and ability to scan for suspicious files and activity helps us in being confident our data is secure against external threats and the potential of being held to ransom.

Rubrik have been really approachable, happy to discuss any issues we might have and support has always got to the bottom of any problems we've had. The product itself is very user friendly, simple to use and also looks great! Every feature we've had to utilise so far has just, worked, and worked as expected as well (always a bonus!) The materials available for study of the products and getting involved with Rubrik (think, swag, customer engagement) has also been a plus point.
