Overall Satisfaction with Rubrik

Rubrik is used for our backup strategy, enabling DR, and also helps with our ransomware protection. We love how it is a suite that consolidates work to less panes of glass.

Cons

  • VM restoration speed for archived items
  • File restoration speed
  • Communication with updates
  • It has reliable and easy automated backups
It works very well in making the backups, it is less ideal, as it is slower in restorations.
Commvault has a faster restore, but takes much longer to perform the backups. We ran into issues with the backups stepping on each other as they were not completed sometimes before the next backup was to start.
