Pipeline management for AEs and keeping your manager happy with an updated pipeline that literally takes 30 seconds.
Used when Salesforce lacks the functionality and flexibility. Works alongside Salesforce and means that we need to ensure that Salesforce hygiene is strong.
The advantage of this means that we can use Scratchpad to build custom tables and lists and know the information is replicated in Salesforce and kept up to date.
This is a big time saver and allows the team to focus on their day jobs
Pros
Flexibility
Functionality
Ease of use
Cons

Bi-directional updates into Salesforce not allows working
Ease of use for pipeline management. It helps me stay on top of all my opps, without having to go from salesforce tab to salesforce tab. I can also filter and sort deals so that I constantly have a pulse on my pipeline. It's incredibly user-friendly and keeps my boss happy. Before scratch pad I never knew how to start my day and had to keep everything in a note book. Now with scratchpad everything is conveniently in one place. I have an extra window to jot down my last comms with the lead without having to look at a contact card, a dialer, or a notebook. It's super super helpful and I am so happy that someone recommended it to me.

Scratchpad is well suited for the sales professional that is looking for an easier way to manage pipeline quickly and effectively. Once the initial setup is complete it is very easy to use and helps immensely.
I use it primarily for managing my pipeline, updating opportunities directly to Salesforce, and tracking past opportunities and the reasons they moved forward or not. I highly recommend it to my colleagues frequently, and it makes my life so much easier. I use this daily and cannot thank the scratchpad team enough for their support!
Pros
Pipeline Management.

I have over 250 accounts in my name, and it can be difficult to prioritize and find notes on past conversations my colleagues may have had. Scratchpad makes it super easy to reference past notes and add new ones to organize my book of business and make the best use of my time.
I used scratchpad every day to better access and more easily manipulate and edit my pipeline and opportunities. I also used it side by side with Salesforce to better align information for my superiors like forecasting and other key metrics. It integrates very well with salesforce which makes everything so much easier!
Pros

Scratchpad is extremely efficient for the SMB seller that is prospecting and managing hundreds of leads, accounts, and opportunities. This tool is best suited for the busy account executive or manager in order to make sure that all of your opportunities are updated and in the right place throughout the sales cycle at all times.
I use Scratchpad throughout my entire day as an Account Executive. I use it to take notes for all of my calls which can be linked to the SFDC opportunity and it auto-updates every time I make changes in SP. I also use it to update my SFDC pipeline. Their UI makes it easy to make mass edits and changes to SFDC fields without the extra clicks that Salesforce makes you go through. It's integrated into Chrome so every time I open a new tab it's Scratchpad which makes it really convenient to access. It has helped my productivity tremendously.
Pros
Salesforce pipeline updates
Note taking - linked to SFDC
Note taking linked to GCal events
Tasks management
Cons
More editing options for notes like font colors, better customization for lists (numbers, bullets, etc)
Show dependencies when updating SFDC Opps.
View my GCal events on the Scratchpad homepage
Ability to create tables in notes

I think for what it's built for it's pretty near perfect. Don't expect this to be as sophisticated as a rev intelligence tool like Clari. Scratchpad is simply a productivity tool for sales reps who use Salesforce to take notes and update fields easily. Their UI is super intuitive to use and there was a very small learning curve. I gave it a 9 because there are areas for improvement, like more text/font customization options and creating tables in notes.
- Update opportunities in SECONDS vs minutes in SFDC - next steps, mutual action plans, pain, summary, etc. - Quickly view account summary/details from any tab in browser vs going into SFDC and waiting for pages to load - Account lists are easy and intuitive to build - quick + easy
Pros
FAST load times so there is no need to jump into SFDC (takes minutes to load)
Gives time back to my day so that I can focus on my main priorities
Keeps my opportunities organized
Cons
UI can be prettier - this is super minor
Dashboard integrations with Tableau / view would be sufficient
Likelihood to Recommend
- Well suited for quickly viewing account details: ownership, activity, contacts, etc, and updating your opportunities in seconds. No need to wait in SFDC for minutes. Build account lists easily to view install base. - Less suited for SDR and BDR roles also for Dashboard viewing (still requires going into SFDC because of our integration with other data platforms).
I and some others on my team use Scratchpad as a more convenient and quick way of interacting with our opportunities from Salesforce. I found that Salesforce lightning is actually very slow, and it seems that using Scratchpad is actually a much faster process. It's also a lot easier to customize and modify my reports, due to Scratchpad's interface just being so much more user-friendly.
Pros
Reviewing Accounts or Opportunities
Adding notes
Saving workflows for frequent Salesforce processes
Cons
I'd love to be able to do even more of what I do in Saleforce in Scratchpads interface.
It would be nice to be able to update fields that require a workflow in Salesforce via Scratchpad
Likelihood to Recommend
Frankly, if I can do something in Scratchpad instead of Salesforce, I prefer Scratchpad because it's faster, easier, simpler, with a much more readable and useable interface. Salesforce has been getting requests to allow font size modification for over a decade and hasn't even done that. That's what sent me looking for something like Scratchpad. I sort of view it as a much more user-friendly UI to layover SF. It's faster and less frustrating than SF for frequent daily activities. It's great for creating notes and tracking tasks at a basic level in a much more user friendly environment than Salesforce. But it interacts w/ SF, which is great!
Currently, I use an individual account for pipeline management and notes features every day. It is much easier to update and organise my opportunities in Scratchpad than doing it in Salesforce. It automatically updates relevant fields as well in Salesforce. The Scratchpad team is also amazingly fast at developing new features, which are making it even more effective day by day.
Pros
Scratchpad pipeline management and admin work easy
I enjoy easy call notes feature integrated to my calendar events
Quick integration with Salesforce
Plugin works flawlessly
Cons
I honestly can not think of any improvement point. The existing features work perfectly. More features like reports and dashboards could be nice to have.

If you use Salesforce and manage a book of business, Scratchpad is great to use.
