What is TestCaseLab?
Aside from basic testing functionality, TCLab allows users to create test cases, categorize them, gather them into test plans and start running tests.
The vendor describes additional features as:
➕ The ability to start with a “Demo” project.
Users without projects can start with a demo one and play around with all the functionality there. This project contains a list of demo test cases, test plan, and test runs.
➕ Multiple users invite feature is available now.
The ability to send multiple invites to users to join the system. Now users can add all your members at once.
➕ The ability to filter Activity Stream.
Right now users can find needed events just to apply a filter, filtering by the next queries:
– Company;
– User;
– Projects;
– Date.
➕ The ability to upload company and project logo.
Helps to make a company and its projects look different; users can add the logo to them.
Go to the ‘Project’ settings page and upload the projected image. To upload a company image – go to the ‘Company Profile’ page.

Easy to Use: Many users have found the tool easy to use, with a simple and intuitive user interface. They appreciate the straightforward setup process and the ability to quickly add test cases and steps.
Good Value for Price: Users describe the program as friendly, offering a lot of value for a low price. Some users specifically mention the unlimited user option as a beneficial feature.
Integration with Jira: The integration with Jira is generally well-received by users. While some feel that it could be improved, particularly in terms of adding screenshots to the created task, many find it useful for their project management needs.
Expensive Pricing: Some users have found the tool to be expensive, especially for small numbers of users. They mentioned that other test plugins like Jira are either free or much cheaper.
Bugs and Unintuitive Features: Several reviewers have experienced bugs in the tool, such as the unintuitive linking of test cases in markup language and the manual order not being set as a default. They also mentioned a weird billing system that is not directly connected to the tool.
Lack of Test Case Management Features: Many users have expressed frustration with the lack of certain test case management features. They mentioned that there is no obvious way to create dependencies between test cases or assign multiple users to a test case, making it harder to manage complex test plans that require hand off between different departments/testers.
