Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to track employee hours, this includes hours on job sites and travel time. This includes the gross bi-weekly hours and the daily hours worked for a bi-weekly period where we can see where overtime or double time hours are logged. We also use it for personnel info and the hire and termination dates.

Pros

  • Keeps track of daily hours
  • Detailed hours reports
  • Robust personal page

Cons

  • Salaried employees still show up in the Employee Filter when "Exclude salaried is chosen"
  • A "Notes" field in the Employee Profiles "Personal" would come in handy

Likelihood to Recommend

I can't think of where it would be less appropriate but for keeping track of hours it works great. It's fluid because it's simple, straightforward and quick to use. It saves time because of its easy useability. It's also easy to adjust times when there's an error, and that it keeps a history of changes is also useful.

TimeClock Plus is an excellent system with a great price.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TimeClock Plus purely for timekeeping and tracking - clocking in and out. There's a comprehensive time off kit that we use in addition to tracking time. We don't use the any of the scheduling or pay related measures. Basically the entire system is customizable to be set to use what you want to use.

Pros

  • Timekeeping
  • Reporting
  • Customization

Cons

  • Mobile app
  • The ability to remove/hide unused features

Likelihood to Recommend

TCP is great for timekeeping and tracking. There's a mobile app and a web based clock system. The mobile app works well for most employees, but there are some that have trouble with it. It seems the app has extra steps to confirm clocking in and out that some miss or skip and there's a little bit of UI related items that could use some clean up. Outside of the minor flaws, TCP is a great tool for managing time for employees.

TimeClock Plus for BIG companies

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used TimeClock Plus at Roam to track our part-timers (non-salaried) employees. We found that this particular software was a bit more than what we needed for such a small team but it worked for us. I can see how for a bigger organization you might need this software to be effective.

Pros

  • Tracks the time of employees.
  • Keeps all requests in one spot (birthdays, PTO, holidays, etc.)
  • Have a very robust dashboard that is clean and clear.

Cons

  • Sometimes too many features for a small team.
  • The pricing structure is bit much for a small org.
  • Create a better app experience for employees to clock in/out on their phone or POS system.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think the best place for TimeClock Plus to work would be at a restaurant or a busy business that has a lot of people to track and needs a robust dashboard to keep things in order. For my organization, we only have around 10 people max per location and it was a bit too expensive and complex for our needs. We could use a simpler system.

Best Time and Attendance Software

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Overall, the program provides every functionality a business owner might possibly need to keep track of time and jobs at their establishment. It has saved a lot of labor to have seamless integration with our ERP, Infinite Visions. The device is really simple for end consumers to operate and has a cutting-edge, attractive user interface.

Pros

  • Boost the results of business processes
  • Very user-friendly and the customer service agents are always available to figure out difficulties and help.

Cons

  • The offline functionality never seems to function, which is the only thing I don't like. Those punches don't always seem to land if a server is down and it sends you to the offline version.

Likelihood to Recommend

TimeClock is the best software to use for work time in and to track time which also greatly helps the accounting team especially if your company is quite big and has a lot of employees. Sure this software can help in saving time while giving accurate track of the time an employee is present or not.

TimeClock Plus!!!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization uses TimeClock Plus and I find it to be user-friendly as an employee and as a user of the portal. It allows me the accessibility to track my hours for our finance team. It is effortless to log your hours from when you clock in to work to when you log out on a day-to-day basis. I log what the hours are used for, whether it be for paid time off, volunteerism, holiday, etc. I truly believe this portal allows our finance team to stay compliant, especially during our bi-weekly pay periods.

Pros

  • Track hours
  • Track hour details
  • User-friendly as an employee
  • Allows our team to stay compliant
  • Track PTO
  • Manage time sheet on a day to day basis

Cons

  • Learn the platform
  • Allow hours to be logged up until 3 days prior to pay day.
  • Learn how the platform can truly benefit your company.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for our team when logging hours from each employee. It allows us the opportunity to clock in and out on a day-to-day basis. It is also well suited for our team when logging what our work hours are used for, whether it be for specific departments, jury duty, paid time off, volunteerism, holiday, etc. Keeps track of the hour details for our leadership and finance team.

TimeClock Plus is the way to check in and out!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used TimeClock Plus for tracking time and attendance, building employee schedules, and preparing hours for payroll. We did not run into many issues with this application/ system and were quite happy with the results.

Pros

  • Attendance
  • Clocking in and out
  • Schedules
  • Payroll

Cons

  • Perhaps their downloading system
  • System being separate from others

Likelihood to Recommend

It offers basic reporting, configurable dashboards, job code management, and overtime calculations. Yes, there is a charge per user but these tools come in so handy and I believe the fee is a few bucks.

We used TimeClock Plus for our hourly employees to clock in and out. It also tracked paid time off.

Pros

  • Timeclock.
  • PTO tracking.

Cons

  • The app is awful.
  • Reporting is lacking.
  • Service outages often.

Likelihood to Recommend

TimeClock Plus is great as a cheap really simple timeclock solution, but it lacks a lot of features. We constantly had issues with it connecting to the server properly and the reporting was really lacking.

TimeClock Plus - A Definite Plus in Keeping Track of your Employees' Time

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TimeClock Plus for all non-salaried employees in our company. We also use it to verify time for the few times when we have people working for us from temporary agencies. It addresses the problem of having a unique way of identifying the employee. We used to have them hand scan for clocking in and out. Now we use badges which identify the employee and their employee ID number.

Pros

  • Employees' time goes straight to the database we use. No having to manually enter time.
  • No one can clock anyone else in or out at the time clock. We love that security feature.
  • It exports easily into the payroll system we are using.

Cons

  • Would be nice to see at end of day hours currently worked. Instead you have to do this using another function.
  • Should be simpler way of putting employee's schedule in time clock rather than copying and pasting week after week, month after month.
  • Should be a way to archive old employees.

Likelihood to Recommend

TimeClock Plus is very user friendly. With a little training, it is easy to master. It is great for keeping accurate time keeping. You can also accrue employee vacation and sick time here if needed. I believe it would be an asset to any size company. I consider the uniqueness of each employee having to clock in and out for themselves is a necessity for any company in keeping accurate records.

TimeClock Plus saves time!

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TimeClock Plus is currently used for four business units to track hours worked and paid time off. We previously used manual timesheets for these entities, and it has made the reporting process much more efficient. Some companies have hourly workers clock in and out, while others use schedules to populate the timesheet and then allow editing for overtime.

Pros

  • Allows customized schedules for auto populating timesheets.
  • Request calendar shows status of time off requests for direct reports for managers - see all-time off segments at one time.

Cons

  • Email notifications for entered requests do not always work, and the system will not send notifications from a manager user to a manager user.
  • We set up schedules to run each morning to populate timesheets, but there have been many times when the schedules did not run, and hours were missing.

Likelihood to Recommend

<ul><li>We pay current instead of in arrears, so we are always estimating hours for the last day worked. This causes problems and additional administrative work for the workers who clock in and out. This is our internal issue, but TimeClock Plus isn't well suited for this.</li><li> I have data files sent from the HR system with rules and macros to put them into the network folders for automatic import into TimeClock Plus. There are no logs to ensure that the data has loaded. I have to check records manually. </li></ul><ul><li>TimeClock Plus works very well for exempt employees who have regular schedules and enter time off. We have a custom export file for our HR system, and that works beautifully.</li></ul>

Time tracking with TimeClock Pluse

Rating: 5 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

When I started at my current role the entire company was utilizing TimeClock Plus, including salaried team members. Primarily the company was using it for accountability and to keep track of the amount of hours our employees were working and utilize this information for resourcing purposes. This definitely made sense for our hourly team members.

Pros

  • We were able to have it on team members' personal desktop or accessible on a tablet in the office.
  • Easy to clock in and out.
  • Had reports that could be pulled for payroll.

Cons

  • The system would go down periodically and we would have to correct everyones' time.
  • Reporting was not intuitive.
  • The system was archaic at the time that we were using it. I know that they've done updates since then, however.

Likelihood to Recommend

This is well suited for a company that does not have a time keeping feature within their HRIS system and/or has hourly employees that need hours kept track of. We moved to a new HRIS system that provided an internal time tracking feature and no longer needed to use TimeClock Plus.
