What is Uptimeify?

Uptimeify is a white-label uptime, SSL and synthetic monitoring platform aimed at agencies, managed service providers (MSPs) and web service providers that maintain websites and infrastructure for multiple clients. It consolidates monitoring for an entire client portfolio into one dashboard and presents status pages and reports under the provider's own brand rather than Uptimeify's, so it functions as a service the provider can offer directly instead of a third-party tool they resell.

Monitoring coverage

From a single account, Uptimeify runs several check types. Website checks cover uptime, response time, SSL certificate validity, keyword presence, page size and HTTPS redirects. Server and service checks cover DNS, ICMP (ping), SSH, FTP, SMTP and IMAP/POP. It also monitors client IP addresses against DNS blacklists (DNSBL) with delisting details, and tracks domain expiry via RDAP with configurable warning and error thresholds. For processes rather than endpoints, it runs multi-step browser flows using Playwright to verify journeys such as logins or checkouts, and Heartbeat (cron) checks that confirm scheduled jobs have run.

Detection and alerting

A failed check is confirmed from multiple monitoring locations across Europe before an incident is opened, which is intended to distinguish real outages from transient network issues. Monitoring probes operate from six locations in five countries: Nuremberg and Falkenstein (Germany), Paris (France), Amsterdam (Netherlands), London (United Kingdom) and Helsinki (Finland). Alerts can be routed across 29 notification channels — including Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Pushover, SMS, email and custom webhooks — with multi-step, time-based escalation that forwards an unacknowledged alert to the next responder. Webhook delivery supports configurable timeouts, retry attempts and expected status codes.

Client-facing features

Uptimeify provides branded status pages that can be public or password-protected and served on a custom domain, with services shown as "in maintenance" rather than "down" during planned work. It generates automated PDF reports carrying the provider's logo for weekly, monthly or quarterly periods, or a custom date range. Maintenance windows suppress alerts during planned work and can target a single monitor, multiple monitors, an entire customer, or all monitors carrying a given tag, including recurring windows.

Administration and automation

The platform organises monitoring into separate sub-accounts per client and supports role-based access, including admin, editor and read-only roles, with access scopable to specific customers. A REST API covers customers, websites, monitors, status pages, maintenance windows and notification channels, using Bearer-token authentication with organization-wide or customer-scoped tokens and a documented rate limit of 600 requests per minute. This supports bulk onboarding and integration into existing provisioning workflows.

Hosting

Uptimeify is built and hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, on European infrastructure without US sub-processors, which may be relevant for providers serving EU or public-sector clients where data residency is a consideration.

Intended users

The platform is designed for agencies, MSPs and freelancers managing anywhere from a small number to several hundred client sites who want branded, consolidated monitoring rather than a tool built for a single organisation monitoring its own systems.
