Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UserTesting has allowed us to truly focus on our customers and understanding what their real needs are. Prior to UserTesting we had a lot of guessing of what was really impactful and when designing webpages, we want to ensure we have the most impact for each page and section and we were able to use our test with our exact audience that we needed to get feedback from to temperature gauge whether we were on the right path or not. It also helped us get by and from leadership for different assigned decisions that we needed to make to improve the website.

  • Understanding our customers and develop developing a deep empathy for their needs

Cons

  • I'd like to see even more AI functionality
  • Sometimes it may not be very intuitive going from page to page to find past tests

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UserTesting allows me to create moderated and non-moderated usability tests quickly and easily. I don't need to worry about recruiting participants as they have a very wide range of participants available.

Being in a very big organization means we often have to get questions answered quickly by different audiences. UserTesting has proven to be a very useful tool for recruitment. The platform is also easy to use for repeated use cases as well as adding NDAs specific to the study you’re launching. The support team is always close to help answer questions and in general is a good collaboration working with them.

  • It seems to be a bit easy for users to lie about their backgrounds and specially about their location and nationality

It is helping us with various areas to my organization, say, It helps us to prepare our product with consideration of user choices, that means, if we have prepared some prototype and then if we want some feedback then there is a way to go with UserTesting, as it provides a realtime customer feedback, It is also helping us to identify our work, that means, say, we are about to have some brand new features, but we are not sure that which one user needs first, then what simply we will do is, we will create some prototypes for all such features, and we can demonstrate to users, then they will give us ratings, and the major ratings will win there, It is helping us to identify how much happy our users are with the use of UserTesting as this allows us that we can ask for feedback our any platform weather its app or web.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used UserTesting for over three years at my company. We recently switched to a different platform about three months ago. UserTesting was able to help us recruit participants easily when it was a basic usability test, but aside from that it was difficult to use for other research scenarios and finding participants that you were interested in talking to.
