Veeam has been a game-changer for our organization. Since the first day of implementation till now, we have not had any issues with it. It works better than any backup software that we have used in my 25 years in IT. We do not have to worry about failed or missed backups as it just consistently works. It is also so much faster than any other backup software we have used and is very user-friendly. We rarely have to call support but when we have, the support has been top-notch. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Review for VEEAM Backup for AWS
We have numerous data that is on-prem and in hybrid cloud that needs to be backed up. We are also want protection also from a cyber security attack. Our challenge is to have a central system to backup, restore, and replicate our operations among different platforms (Windows, Linux, MacOS) . The goal is to replace our legacy backup systems.

- Able to upgrade full functions using the AWS plug-in package.
- Can use a single console to managed data protection and recovery.
- Be able to recover data quicker that was accidentally deleted.
- Continue to Improve data protection when there is a ransomware attack.
- Can accept voice commands using AI to do the configuration and setup.

Veeam Backup for AWS, the best solution for us!
We use Veeam Backup for AWS for a group of VM in IAS suscription. This VM have application for medical auditor on land. It is really importat to hace high availability of this VM al time. We use Veeam Backup for AWS to backup and restore this machine.
- Our operator have the same interface por restore on-premise as in cloud VM machine.
- Veeam Backup for AWS has a full integration with AWS Cloud Computing Platform
- The integration of Veeam One will be Great.
- We are using S3 repository. It is really hard to implement inmutable repository with out this service.
- The report of its jobs is a litle simple and we have to make inform manually of its jobs.
- The backup copy is difficult to operate and deploy.

Veeam Backup for AWS suits best when we are already backing up different workloads using Veeam backup, we used Veeam Backup for AWS as Proof Of Concept and tested its working and it was very smooth and efficient with respect to the backup and recovery functionalities and user interface options.

Veeam has fit my needs and budget very well
I currently use Veeam Backup for AWS to store backups offsite with Immutability and Encryption. Some of these features we took advantage of help our overall security posture and meet some of our compliance requirements. Our insurance company also has encouraged us to implement some of these features to reduce downtime if something were to happen. I'm confident in our Veeam and AWS setup that data is protected and accessible if I was need access.

Back the truck up
We use it to back up all of our VMware servers. We have 20 servers on two host. This ensures we do not lose any vital information for our corporation.

Great Product that provides an excellent DR Solution
Gives us the peace of mind that we have a secondary backup option with AWS and increase reliability. Redundancy was key in selecting this option as a solution.

Veeam is the best for a reason
Before Veeam I used a few different solutions and didn't have a single pane of glass to backup both on and off prem. Veeam solved that problem and has gotten better with each major version, I started with 9.x and now I'm on 12.x and couldn't be happier. The cost of course is high but you get what you pay for.

Great product! Does the job for sure!
We have a huge database and this has been a lifesaver and a timesaver for our organization. It's so easy to navigate and use and we have had no problems at all, I would definitely recommend this to other agencies and users. We no longer have to worry about backup and we are secure.

We backup our VMware environment to on-prem storage and Veeam replicates those jobs to the cloud. If our on-prem environment is inaccesible, we can turn up cloud versions from backups already online.

Powerful solution that meets IT backup needs.
Veritas backup software is a friendly user backup software which is safe and secure by all means and well protected with all features including cloud storage protection as well. The best GUI which i have ever seen compared to other complex software and with a very good track record. The ease of use for any simple new user with very minimal clicks to enable, schedule or restore backups is the core of this application.

Simple and effective solution
Veaam backup makes it easy to back up all of our servers and instances in AWS. The process is straightforward and simple enough to administer, and leaves very little room for error. The process of setting it up is straightforward, and once set, it can be trusted to just work.Decent, if somewhat pricey option.

Veeam Backup for AWS Does You Right!
Veeam Backup for AWS has been utilised seamlessly in our environment for both physical and virtual machines. It streamlines the backup of our cluster which includes Windows and Linux boxes. We easily built out a scale out backup repository in AWS based around retention plans that store in both S3 and Archive. The backups are easy to run and monitor.

We have used Veeam Backup for AWS for a couple of our clients. One of those clients had multiple workloads on AWS as well as on their office server. We suggested to them that they need a reliable, easy-to-use backup and remove the dependency on their only one server. We said to them that just like the migration (lift & shift) we did for them for many of their workloads to AWS, they now need to have a backup on AWS for at least their critical workloads. Then we worked with them to analyze if that backup should be Veeam Backup for AWS or Rubrik. They decided on Veeam Backup for AWS. There was one more project where did a lift & shift migration and from day one this client is using Veeam Backup for AWS.

- We have never managed to use Veeam for Azure or GCP. It works well with AWS.
- A client needed a multi-cloud DR solution management but we had a security issue and could find a solution from Veeam Backup for AWS.
- Usually, you need a dedicated resource to monitor when the number of workloads is high. That adds to the cost.

I have been using Veeam since 2012 and it is one of the best backup solutions out there. Their software is easy to implement, support, and especially recover information when needed. How Veeam Backup for AWS affects my organization
I use Veeam Backup for AWS in my organization to protect it. It's easy and fast to recovery documents for accidental deletion, get protected from ransomware or something went wrong and lost data. I can do full and file level backup than can works with my organization with full backup just in weekends and the other days to do file level backup.

Veeam the right solution for your AWS platform
we use Veeam to manage the storage of data we don't need and archive data we need to keep for extended amount of time.

- UI needs to be more user friendly
- initial setup was complex
Veeam Backup is such an easy product to use. Before I came to my current position they had no backup solutions, do disaster recovery plans and no retention policies on any of our infrastructure. Through all my research Veeam really stands out above the rest. The ease of setup and use and the continued changes are simple to implement with the product. Once it is setup it is one of the easiest that I have had to manage.
