Workday Prism Analytics is crucial in tracking employee timecards as well as integrating them into a system that allows employees to keep track of their PTO and previous paystubs. The product combines a multitude of offerings into a single interface that presents users with a synchronized source of data for the workplace. As an employee it allows me to personally keep track of my time off and coordinate that with any potential vacations and/or my overall schedule. It allows me to analyze my paystubs in-depth to determine deductions in pay and the time for which I am compensated. In my previous workplace, this information was restricted to the manager. By offering this to employees, it leads to a much smoother process.
Pros
Keeping track of paystubs.
Allowing the use and tracking of time off.
Allowing for internal referrals for job offerings.
Cons
Internal referrals can use a simpler interface. Some options are difficult to use.
Making it easier to access employee documents.
Accessibility of entering a specific paystub.

Well suited for a large corporate setting where a multitude of individuals is employed. Allows changes to be made efficiently to accommodate them. For small employee bases consisting of small teams, while still useful, it is not necessarily worth the investment. Based on my experience, the product offers a level of access that I would recommend to any organization seeking to provide their employees with transparency.
Nearly every employee in my organization uses Workday Prism Analytics to perform data analysis procedures. Based on my experience, Workday Prism Analytics is a great solution that makes it easy and effective to make fully informed decisions by consolidating data in one integrated solution for real-time visualization.
Pros
Consolidate structured, unstructured and geospatial data from data sources.
Self-service analytics-zero coding and no license are needed to visualize data with Workday Prism Analytics.
Bring data together through multiple options (API, SFTP and browser file uploads).
Cons
Adding more video tutorials and articles on how to customize and use all features should be better.
Pricing should be slightly lowered or offer discounts.

In my organization, we mainly use Workday Prism Analytics in HR and Finance departments. It not only enables us to make data-centric decisions but also helps reduce the need for data experts since we are able to visualize data on our own through self-service analytics.
I use workday to clock in and out every shift, to submit my timecard, to check paystubs, to request time off and for learning experiences at work. I have completed many training courses on Workday. I have also downloaded my tax documents and pay slips using workday. When I have to use sick time or vacation time, I input it in workday.

It's super easy to use and I almost never have issues with this service. It's an easy platform to navigate and can reach all the needed resources in a timely manner. It's very convenient and easy. The welcome page does make it a bit frustrating to clock in while in a hurry, but other than that, I have no other issues with Workday.
We use Workday Prism Analytics to gather data from multiple data sources and bring them to search, discover and gain insights from it. This is primarily used for vendor management by our supply chain team. It helps in processing vendor contracts, getting insights from the different rates quoted by various vendors. This is fairly intuitive software for someone who is a beginner in this domain.
Pros
Data gathering
Can interoperate with various APIs
Data governance is pretty straightforward
Cons
Pricing can be made better, subscription based pricing will work well
Documentation and how to use demo videos can be made more instructional
Connections to programming languages like R can help too
Likelihood to Recommend
It mainly helps Finance and HR teams. Both teams can have data centrally located in one place. This not only helps in efficient decision-making but also helps IT in reducing spend and expenses on personnel resources. Finance and HR teams certainly need some understanding of basic data analysis, but overall they can benefit a lot from this product.
We have actually found great utility in using Workday for recruiting and timekeeping amongst its other benefits in HR, payroll, etc. It's very user-friendly and easy to implement compared to some other nightmare programs we've tried! I would recommend Workday to any sized business. I can see it being useful in all aspects for everyone. Reminds me of Zenefits but more capable.
Pros
Recruting/ATS
Human Resources
Timekeeping/Payroll
Cons
Truly can't find any other areas at the moment that I would prefer be improved.
Likelihood to Recommend
Workday is great for any size business of any need. It has been super convenient for us in particular with regard to recruiting, timekeeping, payroll, human resources, and just better organization in general. It's pretty darn user-friendly but I would have to say, if there is any criticism to be said, that the price point might be a bit difficult for smaller businesses. Though it would be good for them also.

Workday Prism Analytics is used by our business to provide clarity across teams on schedules, pay, benefits, and leadership coordination. It provides easy access to everyone to things such as payslips, provider information, leadership structures and contact information, as well as providing an easy way to update schedules and provide feedback.
Pros
Ease of access to schedule systems
Timely updates of financial docs
Interactive feedback between management and employees
Cons
updating benefits are clunky

learning platform is a bit glitchy
Likelihood to Recommend
When updating schedules and utilizing paid time off or sick times there is easy interface and flexibility. The recent update has made the site slightly more unwieldy to navigate. Especially given the lack of modification you can make to your home page. It has become harder to navigate to the most used apps for you.
We use Workday for managing transactions from separations, leaves management, transfers, onboarding, documents verification and time sheet management. We also use this to engage with other teams like Recruitment, onboarding team and payroll and benefits. We even integrated employee stock options if employee wish to be part of this program. Additionally, employees can manage their benefits and professional certificates from Workday
Pros
Employee data management
Job changes
Employment verification
Cons
Pay adjustment
Time entries
Leave management
Likelihood to Recommend
It is more fit for an enterprise industry with FTE ranging from 100 to 5000. All these transactions are managed very well by Workday. It could further improve the intuitive section by looking at previous request, anniversaries, holidays, etcetera. For employee verification, it only takes 5 to 15 minutes for the letter to be generated with signed copy ready to be sent to third party

We use this to clock in and keep our work times. We also utilize this product for our work modules. We have most of our employee learning programs on here and the Team Leads also use it for work check ins and reviews. It takes care of timekeeping and learning for us. This product is used every day by every employee in the registration department and has the option to be used more if you desire to learn more.
Pros
Timekeeping
Learning Modules
Cons
The learning modules are a little difficult to navigate when you save things
The new update makes you click on more to clock in, which takes more time
Likelihood to Recommend
For a large company, this product is really nice for tracking times and also making sure that people are clocking in. It's very easy to use and understand. The new update has made it slightly more complicated to clock in now though. I don't see the pros or what the new login page was supposed to ease for the user. The learning modules on here are also great. They're easy to use and start. When you go to organize/save them though, they get a little hard to find.
