Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use 8am to track my time, my payments, my expenses, and lead forms. I know it has capabilities that I have not used, but I like that I can use it for intake, client management, secure document transfer, and that it tracks hours, payments, and expenses.

Cons

Finding the intake forms is clunky
Reviewing the hours for one person is clunky
Once you de-active a user you lose some of the abilities to track their time and expenses

There are several steps that are difficult to find/use. But overall its easy and quick

Alternatives Considered

Clio and CarpeDiem

Carpe Diem was used at larger firms and it may have been the settings, but it was much harder to use.

Clio was fine, but I love the partnership that MyCase has with LawPay

I am a solo attorney. I needed a solution that was sophisticated but wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. I think its perfect for that and intuitive for my staff.
