Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

I work for an organization of about 300 people. We use Absorb LMS to build and roll out required Health and Safety training. We also use Absorb LMS's extensive content library to select courses for required compliance training such a harassment training, for our employees. Additionally, we utilize their library for training on soft skills, such as professional communication.

Pros

Cons

  • Must reset filters every time courses are viewed
  • Can be challenging to select courses on a specific topic because there are so many
  • Difficult to convert a large number of courses at one time in order to enroll employees
  • Increased compliance
  • One stop shop for all training
  • Greater LMS utilization
Absorb LMS offers a great deal of training topics and I find the search feature pretty easy to use, making it simple for me to find courses based on my specific needs and interests. Employees have reported enjoying the LMS for training beyond professional development, but also aligned to their personal interests.

As this is our company's first formal LMS, the reporting tool has been beneficial in tracking training completion rates.
While occasionally it can take a bit of time for the support team to identify and solve our problems, they are always extremely responsive and clearly work hard to find a solution. Additionally, the support team reps are always friendly and easy to communicate with.

I am new to training and development, but in my experience, we've found Absorb LMS to be a good fit for our company because of its extensive course library paired with its content creation feature, which allows us to create our own training and then house everything in one place.
