Overall Satisfaction with Accounting by Wave

I use Wave to keep track of invoices and payments. It allows me to create recurring invoices and took my day of accounting on the final day of the month from the full day down to under an hour.

  • Bringing in payments from other providers and applying the fees associated with those is not automatic
  • I used to dread the day I had to create invoices - it is now very simple and takes little time.
  • I can now bring my accountant reports at tax time for more accurate reporting.
  • My clients can pay online so they don't have to give me their credit card information in an unsecured manner.
I used Excel prior to this to create invoices and my income.
If you are looking for an inexpensive, simple accounting software then Wave is for you. There are no monthly fees beyond the merchant fees for those clients paying online. It makes getting paid much faster. I really like how much less time I am spending each month creating and sending invoices. The estimates are easy to create and easy to convert to invoices when accepted.
