Overall Satisfaction with Acquia Digital Experience Platform

We've been using Drupal for 6 years and Acquia Cloud for 1. Both have changed the way we work. Acquia support is great, I definitely recommend giving them a call!

Pros

  • CMS
  • Web applications
  • User security

Cons

  • Admin interface could use some work
  • I wish we could host non-Drupal stuff on the cloud
  • Node.js support would be great
  • Increases security
  • Quickly revert changes in an emergency
I still feel WordPress is easier for a simple 4 page website. Anything more complicated than that, and Drupal is your answer. Drupal 8 may change this dynamic though.

Acquia Cloud is provides some excellent dev to prod staging that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Acquia Cloud is great if you're looking for an enterprise level Drupal hosting solution.
