Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

I use Acumatica for the daily financial transactions of a non-profit organization and its 8 subsidiary entities. Acumatica helps us to create recurring monthly transactions and payments to vendors as well as recurring invoices to customers across all our entities. Being able to switch between entities without having to log out and log in allows us to be more productive. Having all our financial data in one location enables us to more easily locate and provide data to the board or auditors as needed.

Pros

  • Single log-in and ability to switch between entities
  • Favorites toolbar for frequently used screens
  • Easy navigation through the A/R and A/P modules

Cons

  • Have the branch automatically default to the entity you are currently in
  • Have the bank account automatically default to the entity you are currently in
  • Make tracing errors easier
  • Reduced the number of accounts to sign-in to
  • Reduced our costs associated with accounting software
We use Acumatica to track all of the financials associated with all 9 of our entities in the non-profit sector. We are able to easily move between entities and process all our account payable and receivable similarly across all entities. Having all the bank reconciliations in one place significantly saves time when processing at month end.

Yes

It has been helpful in creating recurring monthly payments to vendors and invoices to customers whether the amounts are identical or need to be modified. However, figuring out how to make it an automatic process rather than manually initiating the process is not straight forward and required researching how to get the process working the way we wanted.
