Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
AP Payments, AP processing, Journal Entries, Bank Recon, Monthly Close
We use Aspire as our operating system and leverage an API. The biggest problem we face is the tie out between the 2 systems. I'd also like to point to requiring an assigned bank account at the vendor level on AP. We utilize multiple bank accounts when processing AP and we don't always know what account we'll be using. Logistically, this creates a housekeeping nightmare for us.

Pros
- Bank Reconciliation
- Journal Entries/Month End
- Drill down capabilities
Cons
- AP Payments - requiring a cash account
- 1099s - we found this clunky if the form type isn't selected correctly - you have to update each individual transaction rather than allowing an overall update for a particular vendor
- Faster close capability - Acumatica has allowed for all of us to be in 1 system
- Visibility at any point into what our numbers look like
4-6 months
Acumatica has allowed for increased visibility into our financial performance. It has allowed for us to be proactive rather than reactive.
We currently utilize Acumatica to close our month (banking and journals). Our operations go through Aspire.
